Changing from the combined pill to POP

So I’ve been advised by my GP to consider changing from Lucette to a POP. She advised this as there is a history of breast cancer in the family and so thinks I shouldn’t have a pill with oestrogen in. I’m a little apprehensive about doing this, can anyone share their experience if they have done this? I’m worried about my mood.

I had no problem moving from a combined pill to a POP - Cerazette. In fact I much preferred the POP as my periods more or less stopped. It didn't have any effect on my mood. Everyone is different though, but don't be put off trying if your GP is suggesting that.
