Hashimoto’s & peri-menopausal - recommendations for endo/specialist

Hi everyone,

I’m on Levothyroxine & also bio-identical hormones. I’m really struggling at a certain time of the month & wondering if it’s the interactions of these drugs at these times as I crash after taking my Levo/applying the HRT gels.

Has anyone seen anyone they would recommended that understand the thyroid in relation to the menopause & hormone interactions?

I’ve been seeing a HRT specialist but they tell me I just need more oestrogen but this seems to make things worse.

I appreciate any recommendations may need to be PM’d.
