What to expect after stopping bisoprolol?
Hello. After a meet up with cardiologist, I was advised to stop the bisoprolol 1,25mg which I take daily. The reason I did a meet up is my daily anxiety, bradycardia (40s in rest) and dizziness. I need to continue with propafenone (anti arrhythmic) and currently waiting for an ablation date. My blood

Uvitis when tapering prednisone
My eyes became very sore a month ago, on Christmas day actually. I had headaches around my eyes. They were very red and stingy. There was no discharge or stickiness like you get with conjunctivitis. Nonetheless, I was diagnosed with viral conjunctivitis by a GP. The condition got better but I still have

Still can't tolerate thyroid medication, housebound 26 F, very hypo and hypo adrenals, on HC 25mg
Hi guys..does anyone have any advice. I am house bound 26 year old female for over a year now. I was put on HC 25 mg by an endo because he suspects non classical congenital adrenal hyperplasia. My adrenals are completley exhausted. I no longer make enough catecholamines also confirmed by a neurotransmitter

Amlodipine and heart arrhythmias
My husband takes Amlodipine for mildly raised BP and for about 2 hours after taking it his heart performs badly. Until recently, it was merely a slightly raised rate and PAC's, but in the last week his rate is 50% higher than normal, massive amounts of PAC's and PVC's and Kardia shows 'possible AF

Mixing medications
Apologies if this is a well repeated question, but not sure how to search for old posts where l’m sure there is an answer! Does anyone know of a good site where one can search for drug interactions? Have tried the pharmacy which is okay if you can get them to answer the phone and I won’t start on problems

individual eye drop units
At last I have read the patient information leaflet properly ! It seems counterintuitive but the Thealoz Duo UD and especially the Thealoz Duo Gel are so easy to use when first shaken UPSIDE DOWN so the fluid is above the opening, then carefully remove the end plug and the medication will easily drop

Ketamine infusion
Hi, I'm wondering had anyone had a Ketamine Infusion for chronic pain? And if so, did it affect you in any way and did you get relief from it? I'm due one tmrw. Pain doc previously told me that it "messes with your head". I've had lignocaine infusions, the highest dose only lasted a week and a half unfortunately

Raynauds
Dr diagnosed me in 1994 with Raynauds said it’s usually a prelude to later disease like, arthritis or scleroderma I have both now. Along with numerous other diseases. Had open heart surgery in 2005. Stent put in aorta in 2010. And pretty sure my next visit to vascular surgeon in March for my PAD in legs

warfarin
That’s awful, in my 12 year experience with warfarin I was always told if you are over your therapeutic range you should reduce your dosage down not miss it for days. Not taking any anti coagulant can harm you if at risk of clotting. If this was a recent diagnosis I can understand why the doc wants

Itchy tear ducts- not dry eye
Anyone? Every so often I get insanely itchy upper tear duct in my left eye, sometimes a little bit in the lower one. Occasionally the right eye too.It never makes my eyes water, feel gritty, or uncomfortable; it is specifically itchiness. Sometimes I give in and rub it, but then a cycle starts and
