First check after finishing 27 months of Lupton
I have finished my counter offense against the Pc. 6 months after the last Lupron shot (3 months version) and get my PSA checked in one month. I really don't know what to expect. My urologist said my diagnosis was confusing with a PSA of 35 and Gleason 6. 6 out of 12 cores were positive with PNI.

Low WBC at 7 weeks after final chemo - anyone experience this?
I'm on Lupron (since May, 2022) and finished my 6th round of chemo (docetaxel) about 7 weeks ago. Got Neulasta the day after each round and counts came back nicely, except after the last (6th). One week after last chemo, my WBC was 3.1. Since then it has been bouncing around between 1.7 and 2.8; yesterday

benefit of taking a break from Lupron and using darolutamide alone?
1st diagnosed 2003. RP and psa increase 2005. Radiation and then intermittent till 9/2021. Darolutamide added 3/2022. Present psa .3. Would there be a benefit to forgoing Lupron and using Darolutamide as primary, allowing testosterone to recover and taking a break once it does to allow body to recover

Increased Incontinence 2.5 years into stage 4
Diagnosed with stage 4 June 2020 with only treatment being ADT. Currently on Xtandi and Lupron. I have a couple questions for this amazing group. On my last 6 month Lupron injection the nurse injected the medicine very fast and spent a considerable time mopping up what was leaking out. I usually ask

Can Lupron trigger gross hematuria with clots in those men with radiation cystitis? Anyone experience this?
I have experienced 3 bouts of Hematuria with clots this year that sent me to the hospital ER because of blockage. After the first, I was advised I had radiation cystitis, which was 6 years out from salvage radiation. This year I started on Lupron and Xtandi for prostate cancer recurrence and had

Intense Hot Flushes
I have been on Lupron since November 2018 with two nine month breaks. My hot flushes have been within limits, not so intolerable. Recently, I had a 3 month Lupron shots on July 19 and on October 17. Lately, my hot flushes have become very intense and episodes lasting long. Is this common? By now I thought

Time course of radiation effects
My profile shows more details but in summary I have Gleason 4+4 prostate cancer, diagnosed 7/15 and treated with radical prostatectomy followed by pelvic radiation and 18 months of Lupron. After about 18 months off treatment new spread to sacral bone was found on choline 11 PET scan. This was radiated

Is this common for men on Lupron?
A month and half ago, I had an attack of flu which was treated with Tamiflu. After that my mental anxiety has increased significantly. I did think it to be interaction between Tamiflu and Lupron. I have been on Lupron for 4 years with two nine-month breaks. But the anxiety level is not subsiding a month

diabetes and prostate cancer
I’m a stage lll patient with a tumor out and against the rectum. 18 months of ADT lupron and zytiga with near 40 rounds of radiation. I’ve been reading about a relationship between diabetes and prostate cancer. I was told that my treatment (reducing my testosterone) probably caused it to increase dramatically

Dealing with prostate cancer.
I’m new to this forum. I’m 77 years old…diagnosed in 2012…had prostatectomy and then lupron, abiraterone, docetaxel, cabazitaxel, etc etc. I have bone Mets…stable right now….PSA 12.5. Being told that I will probably start Pluvicto in a month or so. I’m concerned about the radioactivity situation

Guy Tenenbaum Protocol.
I've been watching Dr. Berg's interviews with him and when Guy was showing the supplements he uses, they said that ALA and garcinia together inhibit the SCOT (pathway?) (enzyme?) (process?) which allows the protective outer covering of the cancer cell to melt away, leaving the cancer cell vulnerable.

High Blood Pressure and Secondary Therapy
I may need to supplement Lupron with one of the secondary drugs. I see that virtually all of them can cause high blood pressure, especially Zytiga, which is taken with a low dosage of Prednisone. I already have high blood pressure that is under really good control, without using a Beta Blocker. I prefer

Zytiga side effects, is it worth it?
I started Lupron about 3 months ago. I was doing alright on just Lupron but then my MO started me on Zytiga about six weeks ago. Since then I have started having severe leg pain, mostly at night. I have started feeling very anxious and on edge, not sleeping well at all and when I do sleep I have crazy

Pluvicto
My husband was on Lupron (4 yrs) and it stopped working. His doctor added Xtandi. The first month it dropped his PSA 150 points then it slowly increased. He has been on it 4 months or so. Doctor wants him to get PLUVICTOâ„¢ (lutetium Lu 177 vipivotide tetraxetan) treatment. Has anyone had this treatment
