Zytiga and diabetes
I’ve been on the Zytiga/Lupron/Prednisone cocktail for about 13 months now. In that time, my A1C has shot up to where now I have diabetes. Now I know this is a possible side effects of this therapy. My question is, when I’m supposed to come off Zytiga (in about a year) does the A1C drop as well? Any

Urologist Wants to switch from Firmagon & Nubeqa to Lupron with Nubeqa
The urologist started with first injection of Firmagon with Nubeqa and before the end of 28 days wants to switch from Firmagon to Lupron with Nubeqa. I was under impression that Firmagon is better at getting the job done than Lupron? Why switch?

High bilirubin
My husband has been on Abiraterone/prednisone for 10 months and Lupron for 12 months and recently has had an increase in his bilirubin 2.5. His MO has stopped the abiraterone temporarily and has ordered a sonogram of his liver/gallbladder and weekly monitoring of bloodwork. He is also slightly anemic

PSMA pet scan
Has anyone had a Pylarify (PSMA) pet scan showing no prostate cancer spread but knew that you had some metastasis in at least one lymph node (seen in an older scan and confirmed by biopsy). I know that there are people who are PSMA negative...not sure if my husband is one. He has had a prostatectomy,

Time for Pluvicto?
I had an appointment with the NP at my oncologist's office a couple weeks ago. We discussed the fact that my PSA has been creeping upwards this year and I wondered whether it's just the inevitable failure of Nubeqa, or if my switch from Lupron to Orgovyx last November might be a factor. I started Nubeqa

889-7469 Possible help with hot flashes
I recently was treated for Gleason 7, ( 4+3) with 5 SBRT radiation treatments and will have a total of 4 Lupron (ADT) injections over the next year. I have currently had two. A few weeks following the first injection, I began experiencing severe hot flashes at night. I could deal with it during day

change in meds?
I’m about to be changed over from Degarelix (Firmagon) to Prostap (Lupron) in a couple of weeks because 3 monthly injection is more convenient. I’ve read that Degarelix is better though.., maybe I should ask to stay on that? Or I’m wondering about asking to switch to Orgovyx instead. I’ve had a quite

Provenge for Hormone Sensitive Men
I am 68 years old. I have been stage 4 PC for almost 7 years now. My doctor is an out of the box thinker and I love him. PSA Increase after stopping Xgeva.
I’ve been on Abi for an about a year and Lupron for over two years. I stopped getting Xgeva shots due to side effects and the fact that the worst number on my Dexa scan was -.1. Soon after I stopped the Psa and alp both started to rise very slowly. Anyone experience this? MO is already talking chemo

optimal curative therapy?
Very fortunate still to have a chance for cure — Gleason 9 with post surgery LN involvement, but no distant mets detected. Received RT and about half way through a 2-year course of Lupron. PSA undetectable; tolerable SEs. Would adding Abiraterone or Apalutamide now maximize chance of cure or is it better

Is ADT failing
Hi , Just got my father's latest blood work report . His PSA shoot from 2.96 to 14 in two months . He was on 3 month lupron shot + Abiraterone . Does this means that Abiraterone failed . what are the next steps ahead ? Thank you all for your kind suggestions and reply .
