Motrin
I know usually
NSAIDs
are not good for us. My kidney dr never told me I could not take it, but now I’m nervous. I have stage 3, just wondering if what you’ve heard from your physician about taking Motrin after surgery for pain?

Help, need guidance, major setback
Barely slept for a month, was taking high dose
nsaids
and tylenol for pain and fever. Had 7 days of sulfa antibiotic. Barely ate, lost 10 lbs. Blood tests still indicate I am fighting an infection and have macrocytic anemia.

Understanding the source of my pain.
This is another reason she wants me to start
NSAIDs
. She says if I have enthesitis they will work and I don't need the prednisone. But I really don't think I have enthesitis. Thank you again to everyone here who has and continues to help me.

Help finding Consultant Severe Gastro, brain fog & now Anaphylaxis issues! Long Covid?
Long history of allergies, then doubled in agony with stomach pain, diarrhoea and even blood loss after
NSAIDs
and high stress, GP says not IBS then puts IBS on my records when coeliac and IBD tests are negative! I haven't worked 7 years due to anxiety and increasing brain fog issues.

Old Knee Injury
The advice then was rest,
nsaids
etc and things will improve. Then time passes and you get used to a bad knee and just see it as your worst affected joint with RA. This week I was making the bed and got a twang in the knee and bang- pain/swelling.

Can’t take
NSAIDs
because of heart issues, now I’ve stopped Tylenol, Gabapentin made me sleep all the time. I am now really trying to eat an anti inflammatory diet and exercise every day. I really don’t want to complain.

Gut is now at metaplasia stage and it's irreversible. Need advice, friends.
the doctor's nurse called me and said there is nothing they can do as I don't do well on
NSAIDs
or H2 Blockers and that since I was good about having yearly biopsies I was staying on top of it.

NSAID's (like Ibuprofen) with Apixaban
Hi I have been on Apixaban for some years, following Persistent AF, now resolved after an ablation in 2020. Like all senior citizens I get bouts of muscle pain. Ibuprofen is not recommended because of the risk of intestinal bleeding, though I have taken it for short periods and it works really well

Joint flare ups after Pfizer covid booster
Also interested in what your doctors are saying about how much taking
NSAIDs
affects us developing immunity after the vaccine. Does anyone know if there have been any tests carried out to check that it’s worth having the vaccine if taking naproxen.

Unknown Diagnosis
Off prednisone and only taking
NSAIDS
. After reading about Long COVID, it’s seems to mimic my symptoms. I did have COVID in early 2020 than followed up with caring for hundreds COVID positive patients. Or it may be fibromyalgia. I simply don’t know.
