Low-dose aspirin or other NSAID use and PCa risk
In a nationwide case-control study, using Danish high-quality registry data, we evaluated the association between the use of low-dose aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (
NSAIDs
) and the risk of prostate cancer.

Indomethacin / Xtandi
My guess is that some out there are up to speed on indomethacin, but I don't recall reading about it before this morning. [1] Wikipedia. "indomethacin ... is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) commonly used as a prescription medication to reduce fever, pain, stiffness, and swelling from inflammation

Myofascial Pain
GP agreed that the pain was muscular but all routes to pain relief seem to be closed to me because I don't get on well with opiates; and
NSAIDs
are out of the question while I'm still on steroids (3mg) and I also have a reflux problem. So I am stuck with Paracetamol.

HIV ??!!!!
Hi, Around 14 weeks ago I had oral and vaginal sex with an escort in UK. I went to my GUM clinic on the 12th day for a sexual health screening. I tested negative for bacterial infections (clamidya and gonnoreha). I saw a few spots developing on my right arm then. A few days later the spots spread

To all Warriors with experience ?
To all experienced warriors ! Where do we go from here ? Has anyone with systemic RD participated in trials beyond Biologics? Stem cell or other approaches which have been successful. I am having a difficult time finding drugs my system will tolerate. I am allergic to all NSAID's , Sulfa, Lefludamide

Help, has anyone else got mental health problems and RA? Causing medication problems.
If I have to give up
NSAIDs
as well I won't be able to get out of bed in the mornings as that is when the pain is at it's worst. Please can anyone else relate to these problems or maybe have any ideas? Thanks

Hashimotos Hypothyroid
I also discovered there was an NIH study that certain
nsaids
interfere with t3 transport and I had been on diclofenec for a long time for my knee.. Of the
nsaids
tested ibuprofen was the only one that didn't interfere with thyroid hormone transport.

Flares (again)
I can't take
NSAIDs
due to my kidney. I know most people may disapprove of opioid use and diazepam use but I am not an addict, my pain consultant has approved them and I am on the same doses as two years ago which indicates that I am not building up a tolerance.

Is anyone on here taking short courses of Prednisolone to alleviate joint pain? It's Winter here and I really notice the difference in my joints and hand. Can't take NSAID's as they may cause bleeding and don't want to up my stronger pain meds if I can avoid it. I was given Prednisolone (10mg ) to

My problem is I can't take
NSAIDs
(eg naproxen, ibuprofen) anymore as they give me stomach ulcers. I also can't take tramadol because I react badly. Have any of you been through this and what was your next option?

New Platelet Information about metastasis
I have had 72 radiations and my platelet count was between 60 and 70 (not over 100) for years, so I avoid drugs like aspirin and ibuprofen (
NSAIDs
), because they lower my platelet counts even more. With a lower platelet count I am less likely to have a stroke like it says in the article.

I have also had decreased kidney function over the last 12 months which had recovered ( they thought it was
