Recently diagnosed fibromyalgia
Hi all, after 6 years of test after test I'm newly diagnosed the fibromyalgia, which given the amount of pain and fact I can't walk more than a few paces without pain and developing a limp, I'm finding hard to accept. I do have osteoarthritis but my consultant said the level of pain I'm experiencing

Methotrexate and antibiotics
For anyone on methotrexate (presently or in the past), if you've had infections what antibiotics have you been prescribed? My sister has a UTI (symptoms only started today) but she took her methotrexate last night (she has rheumatoid arthritis so will also post on that site), and she's been prescribed

How risky is taking ibuprofen while on Xarelto?
I've got some pain in finger joints due to osteoarthritis and would love to be able to take an occasional ibuprofen. I know it's not recommended but Tylenol does nothing for this pain. Am wondering what the risk is.

10 year PMR anniversary! A new drug for me called Etanercept being advised.
Originally 'diagnosed' with PMR in 2014, initially controlled with prednisolone and then Methotrexate introduced in 2018 after I queried my diagnosis and treatment plan. A PET scan in 2018 by my new Rheumatologist satisfied him that I had PMR. Leflunomide trialled but did not work for me. My aim is

overlap RA, medication?
I was Dx with overlap rheumatoid arthritis. I have had PBC for 15 years, controlled well by URSO. In terms of RA, rheumatologist says this really limits medications given so many of the standard RA medications can damage the liver. For now I am on steroids. Can anyone else in the PBC community speak

Inflammatory reaction to sugar and carbohydrate ?
did I read somewhere on this site that people with PMR and or on prednisolone can develop a reaction to carbohydrate ? One of the first things I recall about this journey was feeling very dodgey after sucking some butterscotch sweets on an empty tummy. That was before I was diagnosed and given steroids

atypical trigeminal neuralgia
Recently diagnosed with atypical trigeminal neuralgia, pain on left side of face/eye/head. I also have rheumatoid arthritis which I take methotrexate 20mg once per week for. Does anyone else know anything about this, or what helps, in a lot of pain.

I've had scaly area on my foot soles and foot area for a few months so I emailed Dr photo's of this plus photo's of my swollen knees/lower

I've been on prednisolone for 10 years. Can't get off it. Even with nucala injections every 4 weeks. I had churg Strauss syndrome. And still on 11 drugs to get by. Every day. Including heart drugs. But still can't get PIP. Even though I would probably die before someone with a bit of arthritis who
