So Week 4 started. I am so proud of myself for getting this far, I have managed 2x5mins and 2x3min runs.I never thought I would by about to run again when I was told I had osteoarthritis and needed a new hip and here I am running. Never give up.

advice re knee pain.
hi, I’m a 58yr old, who suffers from an inflammatory arthritis, called ankylosing spondylitis, and mainly affects the spine but also peripheral joints. 10 weeks ago, I was on holiday in Devon, and suddenly noticed my left knee was buckling. A week later it gave way in the shower and I fell and gashed

I’m 6 days post total left knee replacement and struggling! I have no muscle strength to help my rehabilitation. Severe Degenerative Arthritis and Osteoporosis
I have had osteoarthritis for many years, both knees and hips have been replaced and I have degeneration in other joints. Nearly four years ago I had a spinal collapse with the vertabrae in most of my back tumbling like dominoes, caused by osteoporosis. A recent xray has now confirmed severe degenerative

Psoriatic arthritis
Hi everyone. So, after a year and a half of worsening joint pain and numerous tests, a rheumatologist has diagnosed me with early psoriatic arthritis and prescribed methotrexate. My concern is that nothing whatsoever has ever shown up on any tests. ESR and CRP are low (lower than normal actually).

AF and Arthritis
Hi everyone long time no post! Pleased to say the AF has been quite stable over the last 6 months or so, a few blips here and there but usually down to lack of sleep, bugs and dehydration! However over the last 2-3 months my osteoarthritis has been getting steadily worse to the point I've had trouble

me again with the shingles questions! A specific one this time…
how long did you stop your arthritis meds when you had shingles? The a and e doc told me I could restart the Rinvoq once the blisters had crusted over…I’m keen not to be off it for too long … Thanks in advance all Bon X

Does this sound like osteoarthritis - or something else?
Hi everyone, I wonder if I can please get some help. I’ve been experiencing widespread body pain for c.3 years. I initially put this down to the menopause and earlier this year I started to focus on my under active thyroid - I’m not yet optimally medicated for that (takes a while). In May I decided

thankyou
thankyou all for your reply’s to my post, it really helps To know you are not alone doesn’t it. MyGP thinks the head pains are comingg from my neck and spine as I have osteoarthritis too,and apparently that pain can go up into the head. So I feelmuch more reassured about it all now after hearing from

Hi I’m just putting this question out there out of curiosity. I’ve not posted for a while so here goes… My cousin came to stay with me from Canada. He’s been concerned about my diagnosis for what I was originally told was rheumatoid arthritis. However they’re now calling it Undifferentiated inflammatory

Advice please
I am a healthy 65 year old with arthritis in my left hip. It is manageable but very painful and I have pains down my leg plus it disturbs my sleep. I have been told it has to be very severe to get any form of treatment. That is ridiculous- that I have to wait another 5 years or so - I can’t even get

Good Morning . I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis nearly three years ago . My private consultant started me on 15 mg of steroids for a month followed by a slow taper along with 15 mg methotrexate . I had a really good 18 months playing tennis and generally feeling really well with CRP around

Rheumatologist Appointment
Well back from the hospital after seeing the rheumatologist after waiting all year to see him and he's said my PMR has gone into remission but unfortunately, I have now developed rheumatoid arthritis in both hands/wrists, hips and shoulders. ☹️
