Upright walkers!
My 1st experience with an upright Walker was when I was rehabilitating after my knee surgery. I only used it once but I loved it because I felt so secure in it and didn't have the fear of falling like I always did with my smaller, shorter walker. It allows you to put your forarm up in the forearm rest

ALLERGIC REACTION TO LEFLUNOMIDE?
I have had PMR for five years and have tried to come down on the steroids with methotrexate but that didn't suit me so now I am trying Leflunomide. I am currently on a dose of 12mg of Prednisolone and my rheumy said that I have to get a lot lower than that. I have only been on 20mg Leflunomide for

chemistry of neuropathy in feet and hands
many on this forum mention pins and needles in hands and feet, burning feet, lack of hand or finger sensitivity in touch, but what do experts think causes this? The inflammation of the disease we have? or the Preds? or high blood sugar ( even if blood tests do not show diabetes)?

High Lactate Dehydrogenase LDH
Can anyone inform me if a high LDH is normal post prostatectomy, op was in September 2022. Results just back for LDH. PSA however has twice now been 0.01, great news. Just thinking if the LDH is high because of post op recovery. I also realise it can be high for other reasons. I have been feeling

Post Leflunomide Update
After coming off Leflunomide in November 2022, I am now up from 5.5 to 15 mg Prednisone. Finally the pain is subsiding in my left shoulder- it was constantly painful and was not able to get dressed or wash properly. The pains were constant and spreading across to the other shoulder alone with my neck

Potential Potency of Methotrexate taken by Metoject.
Firstly apologies for a convoluted question. I am taking 7.5mg of methotrexate by Metoject, the nurse who instructed me advised that this method could increase the potency significantly as it goes straight into the blood stream rather than being metabolised as tablets are. As my rheumatologist has told

Horizant Cost for Those In US

Flare up at 1Mg
I have dropped from 1.5mg to 1mg at my usual 4 weekly intervals and now having aches in the back of my neck, elbows and hands are tingling. I increased my pred to 3 mg today and wonder if itās enough? Not sure how to proceed at such a low dose. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
