Starting treatment
Hi everyone, I went back to the clinic to get my CD4 results. I found that my CD4 is 188, I was told to start treatment straight away. They gave me Odimune. So is this the correct med and what side effects can I expect if there are any? I was not sick at all when I went to do the HIV test, even now I'm

Waiting for relief
Beginning during the night Sunday night, all of my tingling/numbness symptoms all got worse. ribcage on right back side tingling/burning, legs are rotating numbness to severe tingling and it has not let up. I'm staying in bed, staying warm as they also feel as though they are freezing. My toes ran away

ALA alpha lipoic acid side effect 🙁
I recently posted a ? @ ALA and had started to take it @ a mos. ago for neuropathy. I was noticing nausea similar to when I have to increase my Tegretol dose but had not increased that drug. Researched and saw that nausea was a primary side effect of ALA. stopped it and nausea resolved (yay!) Posting

Alpha linoleum acid (ALA) for neuropathy?
GasLight i think you were a chemist...or anyone know if there's good evidence to support using 600-1200mg of ALA to treat neuropathy? I've read the studies demonstrating IV ALA helping with diabetic peripheral neuropathy as well as mouse studies and fMRIs suggesting cognitive benefit. Has anyone researched

How to carry a filled insulin pen at high and low temperature in India
I am using both Lantus and Novorapid. Lantus at night only. Novorapid before breakfast, lunch and again at dinner. I take 20 units each time. Can we keep the pen and carry both types of insulin without using an ice pack in Delhi? The Summer temps. are 45 centigrade and the Winter temps. fluctuate

SPMS Work in Progress
Hello I'm Bill (BillD999), a 63 year old male, diagnosed with RRMS in 2005, which almost immediately transitioned to SPMS. I have been down the road of several different medications, none of which seemed to help me very much. My MRI results have remained very stable since I was diagnosed, but progression

Solumedrol
I am so thankful for the support I am feeling from everyone on here. I have been in the hospital for about 4 days on a solumedrol iv. I am still having numbness, tingling, weakness in the legs. I know everyone is different, but if anyone is willing to share their experiences with this, I would greatly

Quercetin/Bromelain peak tissue absorption time
I'm using q/b to accompany natural sourced and standardized levodopa. First day, today. It went better than I expected it to go. I've read a quercetin research study summary and found in there that a mean peak tissue absorption of it in their subjects was 5-6 hours. I am using a blend of both quercetin

Dental work while on Leflunomide
I am taking currently 8mg Predisone and 10mg Leflunomide Arava and feel very well with it. Now I need to extract the last upper tooth because I have an inflammation under the crown. After 6 months my dentist plans a sinus lift, bone augmentation before he will places an implant. Has anybody done that
