In our country, there is an inexpensive and affordable drug that prolongs life and improves its quality even in children with a cerebral form, called Tavegil, the active ingredient is clemastine fumarate.

ALD is not autoimmune disease.

Its primary use is an antihistamine like in Tavist. It does show anti-inflammatory properties.

They have shown some myelin protections but it has not been proven

Cheap, OTC antihistamine. Has shown remylination properties.
