Breakdown
Last night I had the anxiety/
nervous
breakdown
to end all breakdowns. My work has caused me so much stress that it came to that. I want to just close up shop and walk away. But my anxiety tells me that I'll disappoint everyone if I do that. I hate feeling like this.

I self harmed for the first time in 3 years
I’m sorry that this may seem like a ramble, but I had a
nervous
breakdown
and self harmed for the first time in 3 years. It feels as though I’m sinking back to the bottom again. I’ve had nearly seven years of full-on therapy, been through CBT, DBT, and have started mentalisation therapy.

Voluntary admission to hospital
Hi Everyone Not sure how to put this, but yesterday I was taken to A&E after a
nervous
breakdown
, due to the current circumstances.with my close friends TBI'S. Saw the Mental Health crisis team, who suggested admission was the best course of action & I agreed.

PVCs/heightened anxiety
I've been tapering daily clonazepam after essentially a
nervous
breakdown
in August/September of last year. Now that I'm feeling better adjusted and back at work I've been tapering really slowly (doing a cut and hold). I'm down to 3/4 of a .25 mg pill.

Tired, but happier!
The ward sister from the new ward came up and met us both to explain what will be happening, so that was lovely I got home at 5.15 so been a long day Obviously a woman in her 70's sobbing and virtually having a
nervous
breakdown
in front of them, spurred them on to find a solution that pleases us all

Anxious
Idk if I'm about to have a
nervous
breakdown
, or if I'm just sick. And I'm starting to panic..idk what to do or how to stop this feeling. My chest hurts and burns and I feel I have to take deep breaths. I've been putting off seeing a Dr bc I'm scared of what I'll be told.

Endo finally tested FT3! Thoughts?
Terrible sleep, puffy eyes, angry, tearful, depressed, like I was having a
nervous
breakdown
. So ive reduced back to 50. This has made me feel that hrt is not the issue. I called my endo and he suggested we may need to add in a small amount of fast acting T3 and to come in for blood tests.

Feeling crazy, need to vent
It's usually followed by a
nervous
breakdown
/panic episode. It's feels very scary like I'm out of control and I need to run up and hug someone but I can't. Usually if the weather is bad like the sky is gray and windy its worse. Also I've recently been going to the gym for the very first time.

Nervous breakdown
What do you do if you feel like you’re headed for a
nervous
breakdown
? Not suicidal just feeling less and less mentally functional everyday? Physical symptoms like diarrhea, gagging, rash, TMj,and C I’ve been having anxiety attacks and crying jags almost every day.

Confused
I also deal with a lot of stress from my oldest daughter (now living with me) who is struggling with what we called a
nervous
breakdown
in the olden days, and a disabled grandson. My husband is a T9 paraplegic currently in a rehab about 120 miles from here. That's it.

Low Ferritin
In May of this year my Ferritin level was 11 (range 15-200) and I was given Ferrous Fumarate and told to have bloods done again in a few months. My recent results were 19. I know Ferritin levels are notoriously slow to rise but I was surprised at the very slow progress....Does this seem right?

Positive Update
I previously asked on this forum for advice for my husband in relation to a rls specialist in Ireland. This led to loads of great advice and knowledge in relation to the management of his severe rls as per Mayo Clinic Algorithm. He started taking magnesium glycinate 400 mg, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3

Help with test results
Hi,I'm hoping to get insights into my latest test results and symptoms I continue to have. I had my thyroid out in 2012 (Graves), I'm located in Australia and currently taking 100mcg of Eltroxin and 16mcg of slow release (compounded) t3 daily. Around 2yrs ago I got quite sick, I had extremely heavy fatigue

Iron and RLS - and you There is by now no question that iron therapy helps many if not most RLS patients. This has been proven in numerous studies, dating back to the 1950's. Yet nearly all physicians have never heard of the RLS-Iron connection, let alone how to treat it. Many patients who have

Update on neurology appointment
Saw the local consultant here in Aberdeen (not a RLS specialist) had a thick pile of paperwork, journals etc to give him. However, these were not needed (yet!) I gave him my last week symptom severity scale and monitor (from RLS-UK.ORG) which he will scan into my notes and encouraged me to bring new
