I had my first ever severe anxiety attack three days ago and I still feel very fragile and like in going crazy or having a nervous breakdown. Is this normal?

Hi DanG1986

What set your attack off? What was happening?

Have you reached out to your Dr? I would suggest going this if you feel you are spiraling down.

We are here to support you

It was over health, have had a bad cough since covid and thought that I was suffocating. I've seen a doctor that confirmed my health is fine bit that was 3 days ago and I'm still pumped full of adrenaline?

Health anxiety is very common. Many people on here have it.

The feeling of suffocation must have been extremely frightening, Did you call emergency services when it happened.

Keep reminding yourself you were checked out and things are ok.

I think talking about it is a good thing. Get the fear out of your body, don't hold it in.

Not what you're looking for?
