Omeprazole and breathlessness?
I was put on omeprazole for stomach ulcers/gerd/gastris (which no proof of them) and now have extreme breathlessness and lack of energy, can barely move across the room to put the kettle on etc - all of the information I can find online says it means you are allergic to it, and to stop taking it, but

Sickness post chemo and air bubbles
Hi, I am 5 months post Ivor Lewis surgery. I finally completed reduced dose post adjuvant chemotherapy two weeks ago. I was quite sick with the chemo and had to take two different types of antiemetic. Now I have finished chemo I thought the sickness would go but I am still having these retching episodes

Anyone have Drug-induced Myositis?
Hi, I've had a diagnosis of MCAS (Mast Cell Activation Syndrome), but I had an argument with my rheumatologist because I don't believe it explains my muscular and breathing problems. Because of that he grudgingly agreed to myositis testing (for dermatomyositis). In the course of writing to him today,

Debilitating acid reflux, sleep deprivation, end of my tether!
Been suffering dreadful acid reflux even though I'm on the maximum Omeprazole dose while taking Prednisolone. It's got so bad I can't lie down, the acid is coming up into my throat and I've not slept for days. After trying me on Ventra for a few days which made no difference, GP says there's nothing

Constant reflux burning
Fed up with constant reflux burning as the title says. I was diagnosed a 1cm hernia in 2016 and I've been lucky that I only get flare ups, but this year is particularly bad. I've managed with zantac last 3 years but know they've been pulled. But my acid came back 3 weeks ago, suddenly too!! I tried omeprazole

Shifting location of GCA pain during eating
I am a 76 yr old man, adequately fit and usually very healthy. One month ago, I phoned my doctor who had me in within two hours, put me on 60mg steroids, amitriptyline, omeprazole and 75mg aspirin and sent off blood for testing. The results, unfortunately, confirmed her diagnosis of GCA. I have been
