Alverine and/or Simalvia - (which is alverine citrate with simethicone.) Side effects.
I have recently been put on these. I have found that both the standard alverine citrate, which I had tried first, now the Simalvia, cause feelings of extreme anxiety about an hour after taking the tablet! Weird and not listed in the side effects. So far it seems ineffective on the pain anyway. Would

Pernicious anaemia, no stomach acid and pain
I think about trying digestive enzymes but don't know where to start. My question is whether my widespread joint and
muscle
pain
is linked to my pernicious anaemia or my lack of stomach acid which I presume can cause nutrient deficiencies.

Problems with muscle weakness
It was Myalgia,
muscle
pain
and inflammation that was more of an issue but over time Myositis has caught up and now in the lead. It's affecting my ability to swallow.I have had physio to help to rebuild some strength but not made much difference.

Alergy to tomato
Even I am not getting
muscle
pain
, sores, and... I started tomato again. The same pain came back. Even the whole day. Even if the tomato is in the food as a paste, I will experience muscle sore symptoms. Does anyone of you have experienced this?

skin reaction to B12 injections
I feel the benefits from the injections - tingling gone, reduced anxiety, no leg
muscle
pain
(amazing), less
muscle
weakness and general increase in energy and clarity of thought. Has anyone else experienced a skin reaction? Is it linked?

Zoledronic Acid - rare side effects?
After a month the consultant allowed a small steroid jab to try to settle the
muscle
pain
which had ramped up hugely. It had some success. The consultant seemed to ignore the stomach issues, although the ROS did say that some people do have issues (very helpful folk).

is this PMR
morning, I have now finished my 2 year Prednisolone taper for GCA. I was under Chetan Mukthyr. However much pain & stiffness I was in he always ruled out PMR as I did not have every single symptom, my tapering was never altered in the 2 years. Every day now I wake up to stiffness in fingers, buttocks

pain pump
Hello MBC Fighters! I went to my pain management Dr. he gave me lyraca and morphine for my pain, it has helped a lot. Going for a CT next week he thinks it’s a pinched nerve. He wants me to have a pain pump put in. It automatically puts pain medication in my body and then refil the pump every two

Experienced with spinal cord stimulators?
Hello all, Hoping to hear some positive experiences with scs. I’ve had chronic pain since I was 17, for about 15 years now. And now my wife and I have a 6 month old baby, and I’m just totally, totally wiped out. Was diagnosed with stress fractures in L4, had a surgery that made the pain 10x worse

Doctors perform kidney transplant on awake patient
Doctors at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago have performed a kidney transplant on a patient who was awake the whole time. They say the technique used updated anesthesia methods which may now be used for more patients who would be considered too risky to go fully under, which is the standard

Is TMS working?
Don't know if my treatments are helping me or not because I am having so many physical complaints that have reduced my quality of life to zero. Chronic dry eye which the Xiidra drops are not helping. 24 hour a day pain from new dentures (can't eat anything but yogurt) and a burning pain in my inguinal

Inflammatory arthritis & pulmonary embolisms?
After years of x-rays on multiple joints (looking for osteoarthritis) & countless blood tests (looking for rheumatoid factor) - all of which returned negative results - I was finally diagnosed with Seronegative Inflammatory Arthritis in January. My Rheumatologist first tried methotrexate and then leflunomide

Pain update
I went to the pain dr thus morning. He thinks I have a pinched nerve. Ordered an MRI to be done next Tuesday and gave me nerve pain medication and a lower dose of morphine and it doesn’t make me sick. The nerve pain has subsided to where I can function. The good news is he doesn’t think it’s anything
