Ferritin
I've just got my latest ferritin result and it is still too low - 25 ug/l (range 12-250 but I understand it really needs to be above 50). Over the past several years I've had it tested several times and it has varied from 18 to 38. I've been taking iron supplements for several years - 15-18 mg/day for

Working out what helps
Hi all, I thought I would try and keep you updated on my progress with working out what helps RLS (in my case) as I go along my journey. OK so since we last spoke I have tried moving the time that I take my dose of Sertraline from before bed (as I didn't realise this could increase symptoms) to first

Worried about too much Vitamin E in 2 week wait
Hi everyone, I am currently 6dp3dt and half way into my 2 week wait. For years I have taken Pregnancare Conception Vitamins and Vitabiotics Omega 3 tablets as there is nothing on it that says that its Cod Liver Oil but rather a high quality Omega 3 Fish Oil. So I always thought it's perfectly safe to

Needing increasingly more B12 and balancing it.
Good morning! Thank you again to everyone who has helped me so far and please forgive me for asking more questions but I'd really appreciate your views on how things are developing for me. I've had 25+ years of symptoms following an autoimmunity problem in my teens. I was particularly bad 20 years

B complex while hypothyroid?
I want to get your thoughts on the kind of supplements I can take while having under active thyroid? I am particularly interested in B complex as it helps boost energy levels. Please share you experience , if you are using certain supplements. Also is multivitamin supplements safe while using medication

Food
I have been messing around with AF for about 20 months now. The drugs initially prescribed made things worse so I am not on any drugs for now. I seem to only have Af when I eat certain foods. Yet how exact a conclusion that may be, is a real crap shoot. I thought sugar might be one culprit but I

B12 Deficiency - advice needed!
The GP recommended I take
multivitamins
(which I already do, and have done for years). I was fairly desperate, so asked her outright if I could have B12 injections and she reluctantly agreed. I finished the 6 loading doses last week.

What to ask hematologist?
Hi everyone! I am finally getting in with a hematologist next week. I feel like this is my chance to really talk with someone who might know why my B12 is low. However, past experience with doctors leads me to feel that questions I have now won't be answered without more tests, results will be phoned

What do I do now?
Ok, the endocrinologist wrote to my GP saying that, despite my symptoms and an existing autoimmune condition, my TSH of 3.9 was normal and perhaps a T4 and repeat TSH could be done if it was felt necessary and if either of these fell outside the set boundaries then he would gladly see me but his opinion
