Supplements and blood test levels along with over 50 and iron question
I’ve searched the forum, but haven’t been able to find much regarding over age 50 and iron. I would appreciate any input. I’m 55 years old and have Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism. I have supplemented with iron and a high level multivitamin with iron for years. I have just now dropped the iron supplement

Correlation Between ADHD subtype and Libido
Multivitamins
usually contain a very small amount of B-12, like 50mcg and it is usually the Cobalamin form which is not as bioactive as Methyl form. Keep in mind it is microgram not milligram.

B12 def and IBS symptoms
Lovely knowledgeable people - I have IBS as well as B12 deficiency. It's never great, but for the last few months it's been horrible. I'm not particularly stressed, though I know that's a trigger. I've been tested for Coeliac twice and it's come back negative, and I had a colonoscopy last year which

Graves and iodine
Hi everyone, my husband’s endo told him to avoid foods high in iodine. I was wondering what multivitamin would be safe for someone with Graves’ disease? Does it need to be without iodine?

Does my 3 year old have subclinical hypothyroidism based on this?
GP subscribed laxatives,
multivitamins
and steroid cream for the rash but also said yes to a blood test. (After twisting his arm.) Results came back as: Raised TSH 8.00 (0.27-4.2) Normal FT4 14.8 (10.5-24.5) He just gave me a call to tell me we had to do new blood test in 2-3 months.

A call to upgrade our profiles to help understand each other better
In this forum, I find that I am always comparing what everyone else is taking as far as medication, supplements, exercise and diet. I think this is such a good forum for sharing of information and our experiences with this disease that we are enduring. I think it would be a good concept to share more

Why am I always exhausted?
I'm 40, and for the last 18 months or so, I've been suffering from severe exhaustion. I've been stuck in this zombie-like state, living barely half a life, and it's wearing me down so much, I honestly don't know how much longer I can take it. Just over a year ago I went to the doctors because I snore

Still feeling awful , even with levothyroxine
I'm also on
multivitamins
, zinc, but d, iron , magnesium. My ranges are below, just had them done last week. T4 (16.2 PMOL/L) TSH ( 3.27UM/L) Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. If I was to add t3 , how much would I take with levothyroxine? I don't trust my doc at all.

Just in case anyone doesn't know already... ;) Why Is Vitamin D So Important to Thyroid Patients?By Mary Shomon
In addition,
multivitamins
typically have about 400 IU of Vitamin D, which was the RDA standard from research done back in the 1940s and 1950s.

Vitamin D
Hello, back again with another test result query? My vitamin D level is 104 nmol/L. It says the reference range is 75.00-250.00. Wondering if I should supplement and if so how much? I am trying to conceive and take a multivitamin. Thanks in advance.
