Letrozole causing lung problems?
Letrozole and lung inflamation. Has anyone had problems. I'm on letrozole for high grade serous ovarian cancer. The drug is really working, I started in september but by january I've been having lung congestion, pain, phlegm, and the doctors cannot figure it out. Could it be the letrozole.

Anyone develop a rash with Ibrance/Letrozole?
Hi all! I’ve had a persistent, very itchy rash for about 10 days. My pcp and dermatologist could only see a photo I sent as I’m not allowed in clinic. They thought it was Scabies or Folliculitis and have given me meds for both. Nothing has worked. Yesterday I did a drive up appointment with our pcp,

APPOINTMENT POSTPONED
I am aged 70, with type 2 diabetes & oc. My husband is 77, also has type 2 diabetes & had his 3rd heart attack last week. We’ve had texts telling us to stay indoors. I have a recurrence of my slow growing type of oc, gct. I’ve been taking Letrozole tablets daily for nearly 2 years. At my last check

Hi everyone I hope you are all staying safe. I went for my monthly Denusomab injection and to pick up my Ibrance and Letrozole at the hospital yesterday and not one nurse had a face mask on. They had also grouped everyone having chemo in one section much closer together than normal. Is it the same at

Immune compromised
How long after chemo and radiation are we no longer immune compromised? Does taking letrozole make a difference? Strict quarantined or not?

throat clearing
Hello everyone! My oophorectomy was successful. I'm a little sore and tired, but glad it's over. Coronavirus has officially hit us here in the U.S. My school is closed for 2 weeks or longer (which is probably great timing for me). My question is, do any of you constantly need to clear your throat

Fearing Ibrance may be causing Pnuemonitis.
I've been on Ibrance 125mg with Letrozole 2.5 mg for almost 3 years. About 3 months ago I started developing plura effusion(fluid build up) in both lungs requiring thorocentisis ( draining of the fluid) in both lungs; usually almost 2 liters in each lung. I have recently been made aware that Ibrance

Off Ibrance
After struggling with neutrophiI levels for an entire year on 125mg Ibrance, I finally got them to reduce the dose to 100mg. After one month I had an appointment with my onc a few days ago - neutrophils 0.7! Worse than ever. (And I didn't even take the last three capsules). His words were 'This drug

Letrozole for 5 or 10 years
I’ve just heard that there is a possibility that I might be prescribed tamoxifen for 5 yrs instead of continuing with letrozole which I’ve been on for 5 yrs. I think that in spite of letrozole side effects I’d rather stay on it than change. What do others think?

Tooth extraction whilst on Denosumab Infusions
I started on Denosumab, Ibrance and Letrozole last March. July last year (2019) I had a tooth extracted. This caused Slight damage to my jaw bone which is a side effect that can happen from Denosumab. I had a small op on my gum to remove the lose bone in January this year. I still have a gapping tooth

PET scan results
Hi all, I am so lucky to have found this site. You have helped me a great deal since my MBC diagnosis in October. I was first diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2009. I had a mastectomy on my right breast with clear margins and no lymph node invasion. I had 6 rounds of chemo but no radiation.

Hi there, Here is Bev from the Lung Foundation, now I am here with a new cancer, grade 2 tumour, right breast. I wanted to ask how the treatment is with letrozole, I know it can have side effects, but is it better than radiation? It's 13mm. Anyway, I hope you're all feeling ok as can be expected. I send
