Apologies I've not been on here for a while - back at work full time and life just gets in the way.
Latest progress CT results a couple of weeks ago were good - everything stable with a slight reduction in my lung tumour. That means that 8 months in at each progress scan I've had (3 in total), something has shrunk a little bit! I'm still on Palbociclib (Ibrance) 125 and Letrozole and aside from a few niggles, coping well with it. I hope any newly dx and/or new members to the forum will take this away as a positive message and draw some comfort and hope from it at this highly emotive time of year.
I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, have a wonderful day on Wednesday, and I truly hope 2020 brings us all love, peace and above all good results.
All the best.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. I hope you have enjoyed going back to work. I pray we all have great scans in 2020. I have a scan day after Christmas, im praying for good scans.
Thanks Clare, I'll raise a glass or two to more shrinkage - not just the mets either - could do with a bit of shrinkage all over - right down to a lovely size 12!!! hahaha. Merry Christmas hun. xxx
25 months out & lotsa “niggles” as well & I’ve now had 3 clear scans (in past 9 mos.)=no radiographic evidence of disease; next scan in Feb 2020!
Here’s hoping all on I/L combination as well as other Med/radiation/injection regimes follow myself & the lady (that I’ve mentioned a lot in my posts—as to spread optimism & help squash fears and doubts, hopefully. Not TVat Th is is always the case...my fears/doubts creep back & forth constantly; but, I hold tight to if it can help this woman he tells me about=EIGHT-PLUS YEARS—then I could get Th sir too) & that’s been on this combination 8+ years (per my UCLA onc who was in on Ibrance discovery and phase 1&2 trials!!). Prayers and fingers crossed. Also, happy holidays! Best 2 all!!
