Non-NHS funded medicated cycles
I am not entitled to NHS treatment and have been discharged from the local NHS fertility clinic. We are going to begin treatment with local fertility clinic, however they only go straight to IVF/IUI treatments. Medicated cycles such as letrozole, clomid etc. have never been offered. How do you get considered

Letrozole not working
Hi all, My mums cancer returned after just 3 months remission. She has been put on letrozole, after 4 weeks it has had no affect on CA125 markets, the doctor said sometimes it can take a while to start working. Has anybody else experienced this?

Awkward dilemma
Hi ladies. I have been stranded in Portugal since March 14th after coming for a 10 day break to my partners villa. It’s lovely here....but. There’s always a but isn’t there? I finished chemo in December and was hoping to go on a Parp but my CA125 went up and was given Letrozole. My scan was inconclusive

Letrozole and Covid and shielding
I was on Niraparib until 6weeks ago but it stopped working so now on letrozole. I knew I had to shield when I was on the parp, inhibitor but not sure if I can now go out to exercise whilst social distancing. I will really be grateful for any advice.

How to see progression on your blood labs
Hi, so my last CT had a slight increase in a shadow in my liver so we decided to change Letrozole to Fulvestrant shots, staying on Ibrance and saving Piqurey for the future. Tuesday I went to get my blood labs and Fulvestrant shots. My CBC showed a decrease in Hemogloben. It was 11.2 2 months ago (skipped

Advice please
Hello everyone, I hope you are as well as you can be in these uncertain times. I had to stop Niraparib 6 weeks ago because it had stopped working for me. The oncologist said in normal circumstances he would have started me on another chemo regime but due to clovid he Didn,t think that was a good idea

Can’t cope anymore
I am 5 months post chemo and am letrozole. I am in a lot of pain and am crawling up the stairs. I am a day patient in the hospice who wrote to the gp to say I needed pain meds. The gp wrote to the consultant to say they needed to deal with it. I saw the consultant just before lockdown who said it was

All stable - Phew
Hi My Oncologist rang yesterday and advised that me bloods were fine and I can continue on palbociclib & letrozole. As you know, I’m missing a couple of Denosumab injections. So I celebrated stable yesterday, by baking scones & enjoying a cream tea with my husband & a bottle of champagne 🍾 I’m so

Anxiety overload
Hello friends, I am on Ibrance 125mg/ Letrozole. I’m also on antidepressants and clonazepam for anxiety. I can’t seem to shake this anxiety. I can’t sleep, I have no appetite, no energy, I feel like an earthquake inside of me. Even therapy doesn’t work. Is anyone feeling the same way? What do you all

My joints are very stiff and weak. Ladies could you recommend anything to remedy these side effects of Letrozole, Zoladex and Palbociclib
Thank you for such a warm welcome to the group. I think I forgot to mention some of the medication I've been put on. Letrozole 2.5mg, Palbociclib 100 and an injection of Zoladex. I also have an underactive thyroid. I'm not able to convert the synthetic hormone tablet Thyroxine that the NHS give people

Ivf.... Pcos... One tip a day... Tip 2...
When I'm on letrozole for 5months I couldn't conceive but when I did this butterfly pose I did conceived on the same month but ended up MC with undiagnosed thyroid issues. Try butterfly pose which helps open those blocked tubes with castor oil pack after doing this pose... Follow for one tip a day..

Letrozole and blood pressure
I’ve been on letrozole for 3 months. Suddenly my blood pressure is 163/89 for most of the day. I’m 76 but my blood pressure is generally 125/65 to a high of 143/76. I’ve been wearing a watch monitor and at first I thought it was a mistake, but it’s the same everyday. Anyone else have this problem?

Itchy forehead
I’m just curious if anyone has had any reaction like this because of the medication. My forehead has been broken out for quite a few months, and it’s also on both sides of my nose. It was coming and going, but now it’s getting really bad and itches like crazy. I’m on Ibrance and Letrozole. I have no

Letrozole and ultrasound scans. What's the standard?
Hi, I'm on cycle 1 of Letrozole. I would like to know what the standard protocol is for other people please in terms of monitoring using internal ultrasound scans, or where I can find out the NICE guidelines if they exist? My fertility clinic only seemed to offer one ultrasound scan at around day 12.

Letrozole
Evening everyone, hope you are all coping in this awful scary time. Just a quick question, after 12 rounds of chemo and a fluctuating CA124 between 30-49, and due to my white cells not behaving, my oncologist has decided it’s not worth the risk of more chemo with COVID-19 being around while I’m struggling
