Need a bit of help regarding Letrozole......are there any ladies who have switched from Letrozole to another hormone therapy and found less side effects. Also, do the side effects get worse the longer you are on it?? I used to have good days and then bad but find the good days have gone. Many thanks

Letrozole not working ... back to chemo
Hi everyone, not very good news on the scans yesterday with tumours increasing from about 30-40 mm to 50-75mm in 2 months so the Letrozole doesn't seem to be helping. It was worth a try but very disappointed. Now it's back to carboplatin initially as a single agent for 3 cycles with the hope that this

Hi, I'm new here and was wondering if anyone had gone through a similar experience to me and could shed some light on the situation. I have been on clomid tables (150mg) for my last 2 cycles and it has had no effect on me at all. I also have to take northisterone as I don't have a period naturally and

Currently ca 125 of 12 and no disease. I'm trying to decide whether to continue with avastin as maintainence therapy. Apparently

Osteoporosis
Just to warn everybody,I've been taking Letrozole for 14 months, and had a bone scan in January and have now been told I have osteoporosis (what joy,it could be worse). So am now waiting to see the specialist,to see what this entails, has this happened to anybody else?xx

Nose Bleeds
Just wondered if there is anyone on here on Letrozole or Zoladex Injections have problems with nose bleeds. Struggling
I have a follow up with my oncologist today - the first since my radiotherapy treatment. I am really struggling with the effects of the Zoladex injection I am having each month. I am worried that if I tell him how bad it is he will stop them and then I will be more at risk for getting it all again.

Update on progress with Letrozole
Greetings lovely people I've been on Letrozole now for 6 weeks and had a CT scan and consultation this week. Basically my 3 tumours have shown a slight increase since my last scan in October, but nothing major. I'm feeling really well, so am going to stay on the Letrozole and keep monitoring - next scan

One year journey
I was diagnosed a year ago with 2 tumors, one ductal and one lobular, and it was ER+. In July we found it had metasticized to my vertebrae. A bone biopsy and a new blood test showed it had perhaps changed to triple negative. However, none of my 3 oncologists believed those results because I didn't seem
