B12 supplements: which is right and wrong to take?
I have just read some replies to another question on B12 supplements and one of the states that must be
methylcobalamin
and not cyanocobalamin. Would someone be able to explain the difference as I think I've just purchased the wrong one from Holland and Barrett. Thanks

MTHFR Gene Mutation possibly linked with Endo
Today I have found some unusual information regarding another possible contributory factor in endo. This time a mutated gene is implicated. I tripped over the information by chance when dabbling in xenoestrogens and the anti-oxidant glutathione on the internet. I'll try to explain as best I can but best

Folate Part 2 - MTHFR Genetic Defects
Following on from my earlier post, I thought I should mention this topic. There is a really good summary on the stopthethyroidmadness website, link here: http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/mthfr/ It may be the case that, for some people, inactive forms of folate or B12 simply build up in the blood

Does anyone know of an unflavoured brand of methylcobalamin?
Anyway, my question is - does anyone know of an oral
methylcobalamin
that is not flavoured? I am sensitive to salicylates and the ensuing neck, facial and jaw pain after taking them is almost unbearable. I have tried several brands and they all affect me the same way.

Can too much B12 damage the liver?
I told her I thought this might be a possibility because the liver has to convert the cyanocobalamin to
methylcobalamin
. As a side note, I give myself monthly injections of 1000mcg cyano and also supplement daily with 5000 mcg sublingual methyl tablets.

IN GOOD HEALTH VI: B12 AND REPAIRING THE MYELIN SHEATHING
Cheers to all: The intention is not to promote this particular B12 sublingual strip version of
methylcobalamin
. But the product monograph covers a multitude of issues about B12: uses, chemical formats ( i.e. cyano vs. methyl), benefits, and so on, so it is sent to benefit the community.

What vitamins and supplements does everyone take?
I just wondered what everyone else takes? This is my daily list, mainly based on what my acupuncturist recommended 6 months ago ( he has been treating me for CFS/ aching joints...if you read my last posts I now think this is due to my Levo dose of 50mcg daily, and I am on the case with the Dr for
