Living Hell and Hopeless
My husband now 79 is a the edge of not wanting to live anymore. His RLS is 30 years plus old, for years just after falling asleep for about 30 minutes and a slight twinge every minute that did not wake him. I use to count between the twitches which always found my leg like it was seeking something

Methadone treatment?
Have any one of you folks been able to try Methadone as a treatment for your RLS? I am currently on morphine and requip with limited success. I see it is successful for some but my doctors won't prescribe it unless they decide I am a full blown addict which I am not. Sure would like to get a break

I was left on diazepam when my previous Psychiatrist

Hello! I think this would be my second post here, my anxiety and the panic attacks have returned in an exaggerated way, (as the doctors say my accident has exacerbated a lot in them), after suffering the accident I began to lose hearing bilaterally , it means that I suffer from severe hearing loss,

Hospice. What to expect?
Hi guys, My question is regarding hospice. My father has stage 4 pc with mets and a newly diagnosed aortic dissection with aneurysm in abdomen. The dr told us he has 6 months. What is expected from hospice? So far my mom and I are not convinced this is the right choice by our current hospice company

I have been almost two weeks on time release morphine 30 mg, which I take about 7 PM, and it lasts 12 hours, to help me sleep. I tried 15 mg, which worked for about 6 nights, and then worked less and less until not working at all. (During the last three months, I got off 1 mg of pramipexole, and I

Coming off pregabalin now.
Hi all pretension takers, I am being weaned off pregabilin as I type, I am now on my 4th week of gradual withdrawl. I started off on 300mg a day and I am now on 150mg. My doctor did earn me that addicts say that coming off pregabilin is worse than coming off methadone. I thought she was exaggerating

Novantron??
Can anyone comment on their experience with novantron? I am stage 4, 5+ years post-prostatectomy, have tried most everything, including taxotere and jevtana. PSA at 249 now, had got down to 40 from a previous high of 312. (Was <5 at time of surgery.) Bone pain under control with plenty of methadone

Cost of lifesaving heroin withdrawal drug soars by 700%
Possibly a bit off-topic, but it follows on from the Liothyronine (T3) extreme over-charging issue which still rumbles on. Looks to me as if this medicine cost issue is being exploited ruthlessly and systematically.

Iron infusion: clarifying % of responders
First, some good news: I am now 6 weeks past my iron infusion (1000 mg ferrous carboxymaltose, or InjectaFer, which raised my ferritin from 18 to 289). I am now getting significant reduction in my RLS symptoms. I now get complete control of my symptoms and sleep soundly through the night with

I feel like its my mind that talks me out of doing anything.
Had a back injury in 2000, had a few fusions and then a medtronics stimulator, thats when you know they are giving up, and of course the constant refills of meds, methadone, Roxycodone, soma, ambien, lyrica, and blood pressure med, and I have worked as an electrician for same company for last 13

Back from Ireland...experiment
While in Ireland my RLS was almost non existent. It was so nice. But I have to admit to doing some drug experiments. I am currently on 5mg methadone and trying to get off the patch. I’m on 2 mg down from 8mg !!! That’s been rough. But a long time ago I was on 1600 mg gabepentin. I had a bunch of it
