updated scans post chemo

My dad has done 2 rounds of chemo, the third was delayed by hospitalization for sepsis. He has also had 10 rounds of radiation. His third round will be near Christmas and they completed scans to compare to his pre chemo scans.

His full body bone scans state the following “Diffuse skeletal metastatic disease, continues to be slightly more confluent compared to prior.”

and his chest CT states “Extensive sclerotic and lytic metastases in the axial and appendicular skeleton as before. There is more cortical bone formation at the left 6th posterior rib metastasis extending to the periosteal . Bony metastases involving the sternum and manubrium is have a small areas of increased sclerosis. Otherwise stable.”

can anyone tell me what this means in more digestible terms?

thank you in advance!

It means that there is some increase in his bone metastases. Maybe discuss adding carboplatin or Xofigo.

I hope he is also getting Neulasta.

ok, this is what I thought but I wasn’t sure. Thank you for clarifying.

I will definitely ask about that. He’s not getting Neulasta, they mentioned adding something weeks ago but decided to reduce his chemo dose and not add anything since his blood counts were not good. Not sure if that info changes your suggestion

Edit to say they held off on carboplatin due to myelosuppression

Discuss Neulasta with them.

I just realized that he does get an injection called Lapelga, I guess that is the same kind of injection as Neulasta (correct me if I’m wrong)

BTW daleboy3, do you stand by this statement /post you made 4 years ago?

Anyone having Cancer tumours should start taking two enzymes first one Serrapeptase this is derived from the Japanese silk worm moth it uses this enzyme to dissolve its caccoon it’s been used for many years to unclot arteries by digesting dead skin & plague the second enzyme is Nattokinase this dissolves the fibrin coat around tumours which are hidden because it carries your DNA once fibrin coat has been dissolved your bodies resistance wipes out cancer naturally it’s been used for years by the Japanese who perfected theses two enzymes. I’m using them to reduce my Prostatitis.

Would you be kind enough to update your bio, all information is voluntary. Thank you!!!

p.s. Do those Black Fermented Garlic Capsules come in a Crock?

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

Are you still taking Serrapeptase and Nattokinase in addition to the Black Fermented Garlic? I would rather take them directly from a crock than in a capsule form since it's always best to take meds from a crock. However, the Chlorella brand with a dash of avocado and watercress smoothie sounds utterly delicious. Thanks dale...

I stopped taking Serrapeptase about 10 months ago as if taken continuously it has adverse effects so I take Nattokinase & a small amount of Ginko Biloba daily to boost circulation of blood

You're spot on Mr. StayinAwake8 (good catch),

Sorry, but the link was accidentally unlinked. However, I do remember the famous advice given by the leading Physician in the service of human health........... Dr. Den Xéro Skatá, (the Greek doctor) who is the Nuclear physician emeritus of Farouk University in the middle east. He said the following (now jot this down for future use)...."Feed a cold and Starve a fever"..... Thank you and the pleasure was all yours......

p.s. Always keep in mind that crocks are better than tablets.......

Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.
