Ok here we go again, excuse me if this was already gone over. I know Pomegranate has stated benefits, but in combo with these other supps may increase the benefits according to this study done on patients and our favored friends, the mice- lol. For me if it can't harm and may help then why not. For me as an investor in my own health - zero risk with the possibility of only upside potential is a no brainer in my personnel journey. Hope you all enjoy the read. academic.oup.com/carcin/art...

I eat walnuts. But this study is 2014! Stop posting noise - do your homework and see if this interesting research 10 years ago has been updated!

Good article for Pomegranate juice/ extract - single agent. Luteolin, ellagic acid and punicic acid acting synergistically or in combo may be the topic of study. Never the less interesting, shows how complicated it is.

It's a pity that it is so hard to do a clinical trial so we can know if it works.

I am resurrecting this post that I had not seen when it had been created.

I came across an article about this and it seems interesting enough that I wonder why there has not been more talks about Luteolin.

In the article at kidneyurology.org/luteolin/ it mentions that: "Although flavonoids like Luteolin are phytoestrogens, they show some anti-estrogenic properties in some cases. This is because flavonoids have a relatively low binding rate with the receptors. Luteolin can bind to the receptors when the concentration of estrogen is down in the body. However, when the concentration of the hormone changes, Luteolin has to compete with it for the receptor.

Some research on ovarian, prostate, breast, and endometrial cancer showed that one of the causes of this disease is estrogen. Since the flavonoid acts as a competitor for the hormone consuming Luteolin is a wise choice to reduce the risk of getting these health problems.

In addition, due to the anti-estrogenic properties of Luteolin, it can be a great option to deal with the cancers directly associated with estrogen. "

and "Cancer occurs when the body’s normal cells get mutated, and they keep dividing unnaturally. This unrestricted proliferation of cells is often caused when the cell cycle control is lost for any reason. As a result, the cells keep on growing and ultimately form tumors.

Luteolin has properties by which it can inhibit this proliferation of cells. It does so by regulating the cell cycle by interfering with the checkpoints involved in the cycle. "

The whole article is interesting.
