Having a hard time finding a psychiatrist, counselor, support group.
The downside is my insurance doesn't cover any
mental
health
issues. Anyone have any suggestions or where to look for some help?

Struggling, hoping…barely coping
I’ve been struggling with my
mental
health
lately..been too many downs to count, and not enough ups. I’ve been dealing with attachment/abandonment issues, and I feel like I’m letting everyone I love or care about down.

My Run Is Done…
I need someone who understands
mental
health
issues… particularly anxiety. I have been diagnosed with BPD, PTSD, and I can strongly identify with ADHD. When I was younger I had a lot of friends and was always out and about.

My experience with mental health and First Episode Psychosis.
It started after I took myself to A&E, looking for support with sleep and
mental
health
. I got seen by a
mental
health
nurse and got sent back home with advice on medication that I could pick up over the counter and services I could self-refer to.

Black mums and ppp
Hi there, As a black mum I have had quite a shocking experience in the
mental
health
system and also very bad perinatal and post natal care. Are there any other mums of colour who have had ppp on this forum. Would like to know what your experiences have been.

pregnant awaiting abortion
I've decided that it is for the best to get an abortion due to my
mental
health
however I am cautious about the affect this may have on me due to the stoping of the pregnancy hormones. I'm worried it could trigger Psychosis. Does anyone have any information around this? Thanks in advance

Advice on hormonal treatment?
I admit I’m a bit resistant to the idea because I’ve never done well on the pill - my
mental
health
goes even more haywire! Suspect a progesterone-based treatment might not be the best for me?

How to support partner during hard times
So my partner and I struggled with
mental
health
issues, and when one is down, we both are down. How can we help each other and build each other up?

History terrorizing me
While I was out of state my
mental
health
declined significantly. Hallucinations delusions depression. I blame him but I know it is not all his fault. What can help me let this feeling go so I can quit dreaming about it

Feeling lonely and unsupported
It's effecting my
mental
health
and I have no family support. It would be nice to hear if anyone has used certain medication to help with mood.

And End of an Era
He said so many harsh things and used my
mental
health
as a low blow. I never sprung nor showed my struggles to him. And had the audacity to say everything that he did.

Need advice
I saw the screaming red flags immediately, but he accepted that I was on disability for
mental
health
problems, and I didn't think any other guy would so I stayed in a very abusive and controlling relationship.

I’m new to Active 10 and really enjoying it.
I’m 64 years old and have
mental
health
issues (bipolar). I’m quite fit as I love kayaking and some cycling but get left behind when I’m walking with my family.

This is becoming increasingly intolerable.
I am increasingly thinking there is a non-thyroidal component, be it
mental
health
of some neurological or other autoimmune issue. I do not know how to proceed anymore.

I give up on improving my
mental
health
or just improving in general. All types of
mental
health
professionals have no idea what’s wrong me. It’s not their fault, I’m just a mess. I wish someone could’ve told me that I have no worthy or get to be happy in life when I younger.
