Is it true that 3cm meningiomas don’t cause symptoms?
I have a 3cm left parietal
meningioma
and was placed on watch and wait. I have headaches and issues with my balance and vomit regularly- especially in the morning but the doctors said these types of tumours do not cause symptoms and it must be to an unrelated issue. Is this true?

Can you help me understand this please.
A recent CT scan for my 67 yr old husband resulted in a diagnosis of 2.7cm x 1.7cm x 3cm
meningioma
uniformly dense, mass involving the inferior right frontal convexity, just above the eyebrow.

Big surgery
Hi everyone I have a
meningioma
and it now has oedema round it. I have been told because of it I will probably need a craniotomy after my next scan in June. I was told it will be a big surgery with risks. This is by a top neurosurgeon. How do Ideal with this. I’m just falling to pieces.

A
Meningioma
. I asked him to spell it, as i didn't know what it was. He then said i now need an MRI which he was then requesting. He asked me questions regarding the MRI, said he would send me forms to request a blood test, said it would be the new year now, wished me a happy Christmas, and went.

My husband’s surgery was cancelled several times only to find that a wrong diagnosis has made his prognosis much worse.
The MDT diagnosed a
meningioma
slow growth , decided to watch and wait. They didn’t do the scans as promised and his condition deteriorated.

Something interesting
At the time they found the AN, they also found a
meningioma
in a different location. It was small so he was on Watch and Wait.

A Meningioma Journey
I had surgery for a large
Meningioma
in October 2020. 95% of the tumour was removed. The remaining 5% was close to the optic nerve and carotid artery so couldn’t be removed. I had radiation treatments after several months.

Had another consultant this evening I don’t have Ataxia
Tonight my consultant told me I don’t have Ataxia but I do have a Brain Tumour called
Meningioma
. It’s got so large and pressing on my brain that it’s causing my problems that look very similar to Ataxia. I feel a fraud for being here but I’m so grateful for all your advise I have read so far.

Inspiring book from one sufferer to another
A
meningioma
brain tumour had grown to full capacity inside his skull and had nowhere to go causing him incredible pain and discomfort. Despite all this, he remains upbeat. This encouraging book can inspire anyone going through similar circumstances to fulfil their dreams.

MRI: everything you want to know and more
I was reading mermaid52490 post about MRI and the discovery of
meningioma
and thought about another consequence of getting diagnosed with MS for the newly diagnosed.

New Here and Qs about 12/2021 surgery
My MRI in June 2021 measures the
meningioma
at 2.6 x 2.5 x 2.3 cm, with mildly increased vasogenic edema. When I first saw the report, I thought it was such a small amount if growth that we would still "wait and see."
