I wonder if anyone has been prescribed PREGABALIN since being diagnosed with meningioma/s and if it has been successful for you? I also have Fibromyalgia, which is being (?) as I have chronic fatigue. I am being reviewed for M.E.

Active, social 72 year old female awaiting non malignant meningioma surgery around Christmas time. The meningioma is currently pressing on my optic nerve and causing vision deterioration in one eye. No other symptoms. No other health issues other than general age related arthritic bits!

I had a foremen magnum meningioma removed successfully in august 2016 which left me with some neuropathic pain in the right foot,ankle and calf.I had to have 2 ankle fusion surgeries as I developed some severe osteoarthritis in the same foot. The joint has not fully fused yet.

I’m interested in any long term side effects of radiation treatment on meningioma grade 1 but regrowing.

Hi All I am about to start a six-week course of fractionated brain radiotherapy having been diagnosed with a medium sized Petroclivial Meningioma which extends from the internal auditory meatus to the cavernous sinus and into Merkels cave. It distorts the pons, compressing it to the right.

I had a Meningioma tumour and Essential thrombycythemia Cal r diagnosed in 2021. Craniotomy of 2021 affected my left eye, which in February this year had squint surgery to my eye. This levelled it out with right eye. Still on hydroxycarbamide, clopidrigel and omezaprazole.

Hello, I had a craniotomy in 2020 for Atypical meningioma grade 2. At present, the cyst of the tumour cavity is enlarged and now the size is 4.5 cm. Along with Post-surgical hemorrhagic collection and compression by an enlargement of the tumor cavity, there is bleeding in the brain.

Hi, I had a craniotomy and resection of petroclival meningioma in May 2022 but as attached to brain stem it can’t be fully removed. Due to minor growth and change of shape I am having radiotherapy starting on 22nd for 6 weeks, Monday - Friday, what has been other peoples experience?

I'm under Cheerful Days - and my story is that I was diagnosed incidentally last year with a 1cm x 1.3 benign meningioma but it is close to optic nerve. I'm having regular checks, MRI and optical imaging.

I had stereoscopic surgery for a meningioma six years ago. Since then I have developed seven meningiomas, have hearing loss in both ears, cognitive trouble, and the list of symptoms goes on. With the aid of an attorney I I am now on disability.
