Looking for the very best Meningioma specialist neuro surgeon to operate on me. Someone ideally who specialises in this area and has lots of experience and is top of their field.

Private or NHS in UK or Southern Spain

Hi dancinglover,

I would recommend anyone at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London. Mr Neil Kitchen and Mr Andrew McEvoy are great, they both have a lot of experience with meningiomas.

Hello. I had successful surgery at NHS Southmead hospital Bristol 4 months ago. Complete excision of right side large meningioma It’s a large new hospital that does all the neurosurgery in southwest uk. My surgeon was mr charalambides who has 20 years surgical experience. I was able to leave hospital after 3 days but very fatigued and needing a lot of support and rest. I became anaemic which slows recovery so watch out for that. Am now feeling more like myself although still taking things slowly. Best wishes

My Neurosurgeon is Neil Kitchen. My surgery was in January and the Tumour was in a complex location, middle fossa from base of skull up into my left temporal lobe. My neurologist (professor Hawkes) said that if anyone could it would be Neil Kitchen. Thank goodness.

Thank you to everyone who replied. I have been recommended to Dr Ian Sabin in London and wondered if anyone is or was under him?
