What type of Lymphoma do you have?
I find it educational to learn about all the types of lymphoma that there are and, to the best of my knowledge, there are about 30 different types. Any time a member mentions one of the less common types, I find myself doing research of that particular type in an effort to educate myself and gain knowledge

Update for followers
I note I have 11 followers and I'm surprised I have not provided an update for quite a while. I started Obinutuzumab and venetoclax in march 2016 with 75 percent CLL in my bone marrow aged 47. I had some early challenges but by August I had only 0.08 percent! Mrd positive. Next bone marrow biopsy

Starting Bendeka + rituximab + allopurinol tomorrow morning. Today is Sunday and I forgot to ask my oncologist if I should start the allopurinol the day before, or the day starting chemo. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks! Changed title to help others interested in Bendeka

Zydelig (idelalisib) first line... NO!
I have had a few emails and PMs asking about the use of Zydelig (idelalisib) for first line, since patients know I'm on this combined with rituxan. I direct you to the newly revised drug label, which states...

Recently diagnosed at 36 years old
Hello all! I was recently diagnosed with either a marginal zone lymphoma or CLL--they are uncertain which exact one because it is stage 0 and there are no swollen nodes or anything to biopsy to be sure. Phenotype is CD 5 negative and CD 10 negative FMC7 and Pax5 positive and CD23 positive. FISH shows

Bendamustine vs FCR
My consultant is discussing treatment options with me. Been in W and W for almost 6 years but now my ALC is over145 and my haemaglobin is drifting down below 120. He is suggesting that Bendamustine with Rituximab will be a better option for me than FCR because of some particular presentation of my condition

GP does not do loading dose as per BNF guidelines due to pressure on appointment availability !1
Hi all, Finally had a reply from my letter to GP questioning why my loading dose of 6 jabs was over 6 weeks, not 2 weeks as per guidelines. ( I enclosed copies of EVERY treatment protocol ) and reminded him I had tested positive for IFA antibodies and Parietal Antibodies, and had neuro symptoms even

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
Hi I'm new here and have been researching. This is my story. Late oct. 2016 during a routine mammogram an enlarged lymphnode was seen under my left arm. After an ultra sound and a needle biopsy I was diagnosed with low grade B cell lymphoma. Oncologist wanted an excisional biopsy so had a lymphnode

Living the “New Normal” A cancer diagnosis brings with it worry, fear and often a realignment of priorities. Questions such as how do I move forward, what changes do I need to make, where do I begin and how do I go about it drift in and out of thought. Often individuals refer to this as the new normal

I'm new to this, please be gentle
So starting at the beginning I was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2014 at 23, then I had a stem cell transplant which is where it all went wrong; Being on all sorts of medication including steroids made me gain weight, then loose it, then gain it again; this wasn't helped by the fact I wasn't able to do
