Fatigue or Not?
I have had some
malabsorption
recently and found taking Vit D and B supplements seemed to 'cure' the low D and B12 in the blood. Today I had for the first time in weeks that feeling of fatigue (say 3 on the scale of 1 - 10). it passed after 1/2 hour.

Important Q for knowledgeable patients with cellular hypothyroidism/normal bloods pre-treatment
The only solution is to restore euthyroidism via parental route before I can transfer to oral, like is done in other refractory patients with abnormal TFTs (unless they find a reason for my oral intolerance/possible

from gastro inspections, which they haven't done.

Sanders in “Endocrine Secrets” (Seventh Edition, 2020) seems very relevant: Small bowel disease may cause bile salt and fat
malabsorption
, resulting in increased delivery of bile salts and fats to the colon.

Lone Paroxysmal AF or Hypothyroid Symptom?
And, like many of us, I was almost certainly deficient in magnesium, iodine, and vitamin D - probably due to
malabsorption
because of an adverse feedback between adrenal/thyroid and stomach acid.

B12 deactivation from Nitrous Oxide/Whippets
I wondered where Nitrous Oxide abuse would sit between the two causes - diet or intenstinal
malabsorption
? Whippets or nitrous oxide abuse is becoming one of the major causes of B12 deficiency among young people. But it seems to be being left out of the conversation?

Could Members With Experience of PBC Without A Gallbladder Feels Like , Is Treatment and Diagnosis done the same way? Thanks
I was recently also diagnosed with Vitamin B 12 Anaemia/sero negative PA , I have
malabsorption
problems that cause regular Vitamin D deficiency and have Chronic Migraine and Fatigue syndromes. Basically , I have many health issues that either link to my EDS and Autoimmunity.

I think I might need a second opinion regarding my Behçet’s diagnosis & management. What do you think?
Many investigations later, we found several deficiencies,
malabsorption
of the bowel, but that was about it.

Perspective: The High-Folate–Low-Vitamin B-12 Interaction Is a Novel Cause of Vitamin B-12 Depletion with a Specific Etiology—A Hypothesis
Vitamin B-12 deficiency has many identifiable causes, including autoimmune and other gastrointestinal
malabsorption
disorders, dietary deficiency, and congenital defects in genes that are involved in vitamin B-12 trafficking and functions.

Is it important to keep an eye on copper/zinc levels if you take iron supplements
If it ’s acquired, causes can include malnutrition,
malabsorption
or excessive zinc intake. The absorption of copper can also be impaired from very high intakes of iron, usually from supplements. Zinc is another nutrient that interacts closely with copper.
