Even the euthyroid have problems
I was found to have low B12 last year (129 197-771 ng/L) which was not due to diet but probably
malabsorption
and which I raised easily with oral methylcobalamin. This may still have left a mark in folate which is below the middle of the range. And digestive issues persist.

Improving T4 uptake stability in dosage
Most of the
malabsorption
issues are related to L-T4 tablet formulations. Therefore, new L-T4 formulations were made to overcome these issues, such as the liquid preparation and the soft gel capsule.

Looking for recommendations for functional doctor in UK competent with adrenal fatigue, subclinical hypothyroid, HPA axis, digestion
Naturopath thinks there is a

Microscopic Colitis query
I am diagnosed coeliac (extremely careful gf diet) and bile acid
malabsorption
(diagnosed by response to meds not sehcat scan). I continue to have extreme diarrhoea regularly which leaves me exhausted, feeling ill and losing weight. I also have good patches. I also have autoimmune thyroid disease.

Hoping for direction to get my energy back
I’m looking for where I can source B12 injectable as I don’t absorb it in the gut due to past IBS and now Bile Acid
Malabsorption
after non working gall bladder, removed. Paid for one shot, but past nursing life tells me I need to front dose myself to gain traction then maintaince doses.

Vitamin Deficiency/ Pernicious Anaemia : How Common Are They With EDS and What's The Best Treatment for Us ? Please Tell Me Your Experience
Do you know what the most successful treatment is for EDS patients with nutrient
malabsorption
or Pernicious Anaemia? Are there any other tests that I can ask my GP for to prove I have
malabsorption
linked to EDS , as it has never shown up in tests I have had before ?

how long do your glutening symptoms last?
But my guts now are nowhere near as good as they were before (I also have bile acid
malabsorption
so there are admittedly other factors at play - tho with meds and diet I'm 99% sure that is controlled). I'm needing to take immodium daily which I haven't done for years.

B12 and iron deficient
Curious if anyone else had the same surgery as a baby and now have the same vitamin and mineral
malabsorption
issues. One out of every 1000 babies have the condition so seems like there should be several out there and would be good to chat with you.

Slight rise in thyroid antibody
I’m just wondering if this is significant at all and if I keep getting a yearly thyroid check myself as gp has written off hypothyroidism as a cause of my symptoms and I am being sen to gastroenterologist for
malabsorption
of vitamins and rheumatologist for the bone pain. Thanks for reading

Zinc deficiency confusion
I have
malabsorption
, chronic sinusitis, tinnitus EPI and PA. I am beginning to think that these are cptsd related. Do any of you also have zinc deficiency? Any thoughts about supplementation? I know it affects copper levels, so it is useful to take copper at the same time.

Got a call from the endo today...
He seems to finally be willing to explore the
malabsorption
possibility, and said that he has organised a day for me to spend at the hospital to monitor my absorption of both levo and T3, in addition to a consultation in a few weeks.

No connection has been made to pernicious anemia or my
malabsorption
/exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. I also have chronic sinisitis and tinnutis. I have complex ptsd and my mental health is very bad at the moment. I spend days, sometimes weeks alone and find it hard to get out of the house.

Stopped PPI's a Week Ago - Advice for Moving Forward Please
So from a layman,s perspective I think I have a
malabsorption
problem - probably due to PPI's. So I stopped. I know from previous experience that I would have awful acid rebound so I have Pep Tac everywhere plus Rennies and I am taking an H2 blocker (Nizatidine 300mg) in the morning.
