Good morning All,

I have had Crohns disease for 20+ years and recently diagnosed with bile acid malabsorption. My fatigue has recently reached a new level of unbearable 😫

It doesn't matter how much sleep I get I am always exhausted. I am really starting to struggle to cope with this please can anyone offer any advice,

Thanks so much 🙏

Yes, I too have bile salts malabsorption. I understood it was a side effect of the two bowel resections I’ve had. I was prescribed Questran but it made me feel permanently nauseous.

Have you tried the bile acid med Questran ? It’s been a life saver for me.

I am hoping that once you are giving medication for bile salts malabsorption that you will start to feel better. I sure hope so. I don't have that condition but Crohn's and RA. Both can cause exhaustion. I hope medicine will help you
