Use of Magnesium for RLS?
I realize that
Magnesium
has numerous benefits, including perhaps with RLS and, of course, sleep. I'm also a chronic headacher so I take
Magnesium
for that. However, is there any guidelines for amount of
Magnesium
for RLS relief?

About 6 months ago I started taking a daily supplement of
magnesium
taurine & another of Vitamin C. I had read that either of these can be helpful with AF I've taken them consistently & to my surprise my episodes of A fib have noticeably decreased !

PPI’s and atrial fibrillation
I’m aware PPI’s can effect
magnesium
absorption and I am currently taking 400mg of
magnesium
chelate daily along with 60mg of potassium. I’m now considering going back on Omeprazole (PPI’s) to see if my AF episodes reduce in frequency. Thoughts please?

AF & The perfect 🤩 storm ⛈
Because I was feeling so unwell I was having hot baths with
magnesium
. On the night in question I’d had a very hot 🥵 bath 🛀 for an hour (oops I fell asleep) but got out feeling rather unwell & BP too high. Boom 💥 within an hour AFIb. So I created my own perfect storm for AFIb.

Symptoms increasing ....latest test results
I also supplement with
magnesium
citrate 2.5 daily. This has now become ineffective. In January I had a colonoscopy and in February Abdominal CT scan. Can these upset the metabolism of gut more than normal? If so how long before things start improving.

Long Covid- are they still missing a link with B12 deficiency ?
Research has shown that DMB can be a useful covid treatment for hospitalised patients: vitamin D,
magnesium
, vitamin B. Singapore studies showing patients treated with these will have less severe symptoms and significant reduction in their need for oxygen.

Blood test results- help please?
Also Vit D and
magnesium
. I stopped them all a couple of weeks before testing. My inflammation is high but every test I have had shows low antibodies so don’t think I am autoimmune hypothyroid. Could it be MTHFR gene causing folate issue?

Iron + magnesium - bothered
I am experimenting with
magnesium
following some recent posts. I believe someone (jools?) is taking 100mg. I'm using
magnesium
bisglycinate and took one (88mg) last night, about 30 min before taking my alternate day iron bisglycinate (25mg) [on an empty stomach, of course].

My Experience With Magnesium Acetyl-Taurate
I think this form of
magnesium
is more effective on my pain than any other
magnesium
I’ve tried so far except for perhaps
magnesium
L-threonate at 2,000mg (The first time I took that dose, I experienced total symptom relief.).

Question about magnesium
I talked to my doctor today and he suggested I try
magnesium
. For those who have found it helpful: 1) How much
magnesium
do you take? 2) How far apart from taking gabapentin do you take it?

The lab work showed that my UIBC is normal, but my Iron and TIBC are low, and my
magnesium
is a little high (Iron 24, TIBC 229, Iron saturation 10%,
magnesium
2.5). My PCP wants to start me on erythropoietin, and my nephrologist has concurred if I qualify.
