Have a 25H test to see your D3 levels. Take the supplement according to the test results.

I take 5,000 D3/K2 combo pill twice a day for a total of 10,000 of the D3 daily. I don't recall the K2 amt but it comes together in its own combination. I did have the test to find my level first, however, the traditional drs always have a much lower value they want the test to indicate than do functional drs. I am retested periodically when I plan to already be at the drs offc. I aim for my D3 test value to hang out around 80.

I also take magnesium at night separately.

I currently take 35,000IU of D3, 1200mcg of K2-MK7 and 800mg of magnesium citrate daily, among many other supplements.
