Leg Pain - 4th Week on Lupron
Hi Friends, I'm on 4th week of ADT (Lupron+Abiraterone). Yesterday I started feeling right upper leg pain in the quads area. I'm not sure whether it's bone or muscle pain. But it's getting worse. I can barely walk. At first I was thinking may be I strained it. But I didn't do anything different than

back spasm, can anything be done?
what do you do to get comfy or relieve pain? e.g take magnesium? something topical? thanks question 2, what pain medication have you used? i guess it'll be up to the prescribing doctor, but people here often have extra knowledge and tips

B12 sublingual
Hi, I suppose this has been addressed before, but....Is there any reason not to take sublingual B12 around the same time as ndt? Usually I space the sublingual B12 a couple hours away from ndt but figured the B12 is bypassing the digestive system & the ndt is not. My TSH, FT4&3 are all good. Since

Ectopics and bisoprolol
Hi, I had a big increase in the number of ectopics I get last year. Also, had bigeminy and atrial tachycardia. Cardiologist suggested 1.25mg of bisoprolol which helped reduce the number for a few weeks but then they became even worse so I was advised to take 2.5mg. Same story: some improvement for a

Vitamin and mineral supplements? My latest results
Hi all, I've just had my latest Blue Horizon results (see image) which I would welcome comments on, particularly regarding the vitamins and minerals I might need to supplement. All blood tests were done no later than 9.30am, no levo for 24 hours before. I've worked really hard this year on my diet, but

Results and doctor visits
Hi everyoneOh the stress with these doctors. So I got my bloods done last week at 9.15 am. So I got extra done since I knew what to ask for thankfully because of your help here. Today I went back for results and honestly, it's like the light is on and no one home, the frustration. We don't test for

Can of worms
I have always been grateful for all the help I have received from HealthUnlocked since I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's some eight years ago. For the last few years, I have done very well on 100 mcgs of Levothyroxine and 8 mcgs T3 per day. I find a Keto, completely gluten free and almost entirely organic

Colonoscopy
I had a very stressful colonoscopy last Thursday. Stressful in itself but rendered more so by the Practice Nurse who fasttracked me, saying, ‘Good luck, I hope I’m wrong.’ I defy anyone to not think the worst after that! Anyway, the scope was clear of cancer, or polyps but confirmed what I already knew

Bowel inflammation - any link to PMR/GCA?
I have had problems with diarrhoea for several years now. I have had bad reactions in the past to sertraline (antidepressant) and amoxillin, with constant diarrhoea for several months. However my calprotectin levels (measuring gut inflammation) were normal. Since diagnosis I have been getting frequent

Vitamin Deficiciencies and lack of GP support
We have been pushing mum’s GP to read up on the Mayo Algorithm to try and get to a workable solution… We have stalled on the first hurdle unfortunately…. We requested that a full blood test be taken to determine any deficiencies in vitamins B1,B3,B6,B12,D3,K2,Potassium, Copper and Magnesium.

Advice on taking Naproxine with Pred
As I flagged up last week - was diagnosed with Bursitis on the right hip. X-ray was done and no fractures found which was such a relief. Prescribed Naproxine 250 mg twice a day and paracetamol if pain got over the top. I also take thryroxine 75 mg and 100mg on alternate days and Losartan 25mg. Magnesium

Lanzaprozole and magnesium deficiency
Hi all, I was diagnosed with GCA in 2018. With the help and support of this group I came through some tough times, and will always be grateful for that. After a very gradual taper, I have now completed 13 months without prednisolone, and, fingers crossed, the GCA is still quiet. I am still having sub-cutaneous

Leg Cramps
HI fellow MPNers, Just wondering if anyone else is suffering with severe leg cramps - sometime toes too ?? These are leaving me with sore legs for days after and I thank god my husband has been on hand on a couple of occasions to massage them hard for me. Could this be a symptom of PV or a side effect
