I had a nerve root injection which helped a little bit with the pain along with
lyrica
and tramadol. Im unable to drive because of pain and cramps and im still walking with a crutch. Im finding it very lonely as my ‘at home ‘ son has just started a job and my husband works long hours .

New Here, Not New to GAD and MDD
My family practice doctor has prescribed
lyrica
for my pain, and it works incredibly well, and I know I'm not going to end up leaving my daughter without a mom. I have made large transitions since my last hospitalization. I quit my job in education, music teacher, after a 13 year stint.

Withdrawal story. Lyrica.Help!
He suggested that
lyrica
would work pretty well within 3 -4 days.(He said take 50mg for 3 days.If that doesnt work then take 75 mg for 3 days etc)That suggestion makes me anxious because i think its too soon to make a conclusion about
lyrica
s effectiveness! Thank you all for your help!

For those who have gone through augmentation and withdrawal.
It has already been a month since stopping pram because of augmentation (i had been on 1× 0.18 pram since 2012 but i also have to admit that ignorant doctors made me upper the dose some times) and 5 weeks since starting
lyrica
.

Lyrica - effective for your neuropathy?
For about the past month I've been trying
Lyrica
, 100 mg three times a day. I know it works for others - my own step-grandfather takes it for his diabetic neuropathy and he claims it works wonders. So far it hasn't done anything for me.

Any tips on dealing with neuropathy?
My GP says he can prescribe
lyrica
but I took it when I had shingles 5 years ago, and stopped it after 3 pills because I liked it too much, if you get my drift. Anyone have tips on how they handle theirs? Thanks.

Seroxat
I am so sensitive to anti-depressants, ssri's neuropinepherin, all of them, even
lyrica
, All the gabas. Then why did my gp rx seroxat, why did he not tell me how dangerous it is. I trusted him, trusted him not to rx something that would harm me.

Neuropathy.... but not from chemo
I am not able to take
lyrica
, gabapentin. So I've been taking the supplement listed below and it has given me about 65 % - 75% relief......unless.......I'm under a lot of stress. I'm sure it doesn't work the same for everyone but I think it's worth a try.

Lyrica and side effects.
I was given
Lyrica
to take about 14 days ago for anxiety. My doctor first put me on 75mgs twice a day. I felt like I was having strokes on them as my balance was completely off, and I was so spaced out and like a high feeling. So he reduced my dose to 50mg twice a day.

Increased mucus and steroid use
I took the
lyrica
for one more day and then decided to stop. The mucus continued for a couple more days and then cleared up. About a week later my pain reoccurred and I decided to take the
lyrica
again. The next day the mucus started again.

Socks for Foot Burning
I have already used
Lyrica
, cymbalta and for the last month I have taken gabapentin + amitriptyline with a slight improvement in the burning feeling. A podiatrist friend suggested that I wrap my legs with Opsite or Fixomul, a procedure she does with her patients with peripheral neuropathy.
