Cervical dystonia & fibromyalgia

I was diagnosed with cervical dystonia (head tremors with neck & shoulder pain) in 2016. My Consultant has tried 4 different meds, last two being Lyrica & gabapentin (900mgs per day) Felt I couldn't function & live alone so stopped taking them but pain has spread all over. My Sister suffers with chronic fibromyalgia so any advice before my next app with Consultant would be really appreciated. I also had botox injections to neck in Oct '17 with not much improvement. Am concerned that I may have developed Fybromyalgia alongside Dystonia. Any helpful comments would be very welcome.

Fibromyalgia, dystonia, tremor are just a few of the many complaints that share symptoms making diagnosis a challenge even for an expert neurologist who may prescribe on a trial & error basis.

I have functional dystonia, life is a misery, I but remain optimistic there's a cure on the horizon. DBUS could be one of these.

Very true, I was first diagnosed with essential tremor back in Aug 2016 by Neurologist & then dystonia by Neurosurgeon but this pain spreading all over is ringing alarm bells for me. I've ordered a tens machine to see if it will help until my next app, for now I've just started my day with a Tramadol.

Interested to know what DBUS is ??
