This is so exhausting

I havnt been diagnosed as of yet but I have been in pain every single day for 5 years, i was told i had fibromyalgia and i accepted it but then i began to notice the pain got intense around my period and also ovulation i pointed this out but i was looked at as if i was crazy :/ my lower back pain became a big problem but was only on 1 side they decided to give me a lumbar mri scan but apart from usual wear and tear all was good so the orthopedic surgeon decided it was my nerves in my spine faucet joints so gave me injections...I felt great after a week and it lasted about 3 weeks but then I started to limp and I actually felt like I had a ball or lump in my lower back and explained again it gets really intense when I'm due my period but again ignored! Fast forward to last year and my periods where very heavy and the pain is like being in labour I've had numerous a&e visits which drs thought was gallbladder (it wasnt) hernia (nope)also kidney infection which I got antibiotics but I still get the pain now every single day, my pain is getting worse as time goes on I've had transvaginal scans all was good 3 times I had them I had my organs scanned all was good apart from slightly fatty liver I'm 45 so it's nothing bad as I dont drink alcohol but have put a lot of weight on through all this bloody pain I used to be really active 5 years ago m life has changed so dramatically, but goo news I have my 1st endometriosis specialist gyno appointment on monday and I honestly can't wait to finally get my foot in the door as i feel this has took forever.

There is something i would like to ask everyone please, I am extremely tired on a daily basis and find it really hard to get moving and my mood is low ...is this normal? I just want to be able to go for a walk or play with my grandsons without hurting .

EDIT - my daily pain is a spikey pulling pain on my bowel area and a dull ache the same area on my back also appendix area forgot to mention I went to a&e for this also but all was good ...the appendix area is like something is pressing on a nerve hence the thigh and knee pain with limp which has caused foot pain with the way I walk all my right side hurts basically!! Also blood in stool only with period, always constipation but worse with period. They do suspect bowel endometriosis but until further tests I will have to wait, nausea and faint feeling with period i actually feel poorly when i have my period, I've have recurrent anemia almost every 6 to 8 months It returns, pain when passing wind at times ooo now that really hurts :/ most of my daily pain is around my kidney/bowel/appendix and leg. Sorry for the long post I'm trying to give as many symptoms as I can I'm almost certain its endometriosis as my mother had it badly and ended up with uterine cancer but she is ok now thank god!

Hiyour symptoms are a lot like mine. I've been diagnosed with endo throughout my pelvis on bowel and possibly diaphragm. Waiting for a full hysterectomy and removal of all endo, currently on prostap injections to help prepare me. I'm 47 and like you and so many others it has taken years of persistence to get this far.

Feeling exhausted is only to be expected when your body has been in so much pain for so long and is trying to function as normally as possible while dealing with all the inflammation endo causes. Your mood can become very low as well, don't forget to mention that as well as all your other symptoms when you see consultant.

wishing you lots of luck with your appointment, let me know how you get on

take care

Thank you and good luck with your treatment that's the 1 thing I ain't looking forward to but if it takes away all this pain I will endure it. Can I ask what to expect on my 1st appointment and any advice please I'm sort of excited which sounds weird as I know it ain't going to be pretty but just to get that diagnosis will be a huge st step for me :)

Have you ever seen a pelvic pain physio?

Yes I've had physio as they thought it might be muscle related I did the stretches for 12 weeks but still the pain was there , they tried me again with different stretches which i done for a further 12 weeks then 1 last time again for another 12 weeks i then got steroid injections into my joint I've forgotten the name (it's the triangle joint on lower spine) this worked for 2 weeks but then came back i have my appointment tomorrow for gynaecology and i seriously can't wait as this is getting worse the pain is my right shoulder/below ribs/bowel/ovaries/appendix / thigh and knee and lower back it's just one side that is every single day but I do get bouts of left side pain near my period I dont know how much more I can take with all this pain it ruins my life

Sorry, you said muscle related which muscles were they stretching?

They thought it was muscle related my lower back muscles and my hip thigh and pelvic muscles I've had so many false diagnosis that it's got me at the end of my tether my main concern is my leg as I have had this limp for 3 years and no further forward so the dr thinks it maybe endo pressing on my nerve going through my pelvic area down to my thigh and knee and the past few months it's now affecting my sciatica nerve so the front and back of my leg are in pain and walking makes it worse it's just a vicious circle
