Weather contingency planning for first FET this week
Does anyone have any experience of what happens when snow disrupts transfer day?I'm due for my first transfer on Friday and there's snow in the forecast. I'm trying to keep myself together about it and have thought about booking an air BnB near clinic, but don't even know if clinic staff would get there

Recipes for fatty liver?
said was to eat a
low

and that it can be reversed. He still has to have a flex scan done and he has an appointment with a dietitian next week. But I was wondering if anyone has some recipes or ideas for food until his appointment.

day 6 slow developing blastocysts - any success stories?
hello I’m currently 5dp6dt of a double day 6 frozen embryo transfer. One was 2BB The other is an ‘early blastocyst’ and not able to be graded. Im feeling really down as everything I read says that the likelihood of a live birth/pregnancy is low. Im concerned that they’re both such early stage

Is it normal to experience breast tender _heaviness or painful to touch when you are preparing for embryo transfer
. I am taking 6 tablets a day of progonova for my utrus lining and in day 6 I started to feel so much pain in my breast. Does it mean my prolactin hormonal is raising and this will be a cancelled cycle to transfer . Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you all

2ww starting today. Last chance saloon
Well that's our last frostie transferred today. I believe this is transfer number 5... or it could be 6.. lost count. We have been very fortunate with a successful FET 6 years ago 😊 but always wanted another. So here we are... any else waiting?

Warwickshire Clinic recommendations
Hi all, Can anyone recommend a private clinic in the Warwickshire area? What has your experience been like with them? I had my first cycle on NHS at the CRM - part of the UHCW. But looking to go private now so that we can get testing on our embryos before transfer. Previously had two miscarriages

Can a period start and stop?
This might seem like a silly question but can a period ever start and stop within the space of a few hours?! I had a frozen embryo transfer 7 days ago and today have had light pink spotting which then disappeared completely, even when I've wiped there's nothing on the toilet paper. Surely when a period

Losing focus
Hi guys I'm not entirely sure of the purpose of this post guess I'm just looking to not be alone in these thoughts. Although I'm not even sure I can explain it properly.I feel like I have kind of lost the focus of my fertility journey. I seem to be so focused on getting pregnant (and staying pregnant

Light bleeding 7 days after embryo transfer
Hi all, I had a 5 day frozen embryo transfer 7 days ago - 2 embryos put back. 48 hours later, I experienced some mild cramps and again the day after that. This morning I have some more mild cramps and I've just been to the toilet and have a very light pink discharge? Could this be my period so soon

Activities during 2ww - how careful are you about attending social events etc?
Hello, I've got an FET coming up and am on steroids for this one. I've got a few planned activities which involves a gig which I'd loved to go to but I'm just not sure its worth the risk with COVID still about, especially if my immune system is slightly dampened with the drugs. Wondering what other people

Standard Peak Flow rate and Clenil dose
How relevant is the flow rate to Clenil dosage? I seem to have the same Standard Peak Flow result (420-450) when taking Clenil 200 x2 twice daily as I did taking Clenil 100x2 twice daily. I worry that my dosage is higher than required- any thoughts please?

Peak flow higher in the evening
Hello 👋 My GP has requested we keep a peak flow diary for my 8 year old son as she is quering he has asthma. We are on day 4 now and I've noticed his readings are always lower in the evening. Everything online says they are normally lower in the morning. Has anyone else had this? His morning readings

Ahhh it’s been awhile… Had my 5th FET today. Anyone else receiving competing information?? 🤔
I am in my TWW…I have had zero embryos attach but I’m hoping 5th time is the charm 🤷♀️ I find I get different information from the doctors every time I go in for another transfer… I’ve been told I can’t submerge myself in water(no baths, swimming, etc), no sex, no exercise. Then I have been told to

Advice pls- FET or endometrial testing
Hi ladies, Would appreciate your advice on my situation. Had an MMC at 7 wks in Oct 22 (4th transfer and first time I’ve ever had a positive pregnancy test). It took nearly 2 months for me to naturally have a period after. I had some miscarriage/ implantation testing with a university research clinic

3rd Failed FET
Not the post I was hoping to share but today was my OTD and was hit in the face with another BFN…we’re devastated. Thought we would be 3rd time lucky but clearly not. I’m waiting to hear back from the clinic regarding my result in regards as to what will happen next. We only have one more NHS funded

Think I may have lost it 😢
I have been testing daily for nearly a week, but the line doesn’t seem to be getting darker, todays line actually looks lighter. I had a small bleed at 7 days post FET but it wasn’t heavy, just a little pink and on dark spot. The line furthest right is todays test. Scan isn’t booked until 16th March
