Low fat diet

My Dr does not really say much about it other than take creon, and low fat diet, no red meat, no alcohol, Dr says its unspecified to why I have it I also have mild gastroparesis, thanks in advance

My primary doctor just told me to avoid alcohol alcohol and be on a low-fat diet. I made an appointment with a hepatologist to see how serious it is. Would anybody know how serious this is? Does an enlarged liver mean the same as inflammation?

My question is should I still keep a low fat diet or will I eat as normal? Will reducing the fat I eat before the scan skew the results?

I did manage to persuade my cardiologist to perform a CIMT but the results were ambiguous (big difference between left and right) and received no advice from the cardiologist bar "change to a low fat diet and take statins".

I started following a low fat diet, and with fodmap found too much fibre and foods high in inulin a problem, but again avoiding these seemed to help things, up until 2 years ago.

My cholesterol was 6 total and it's come down to 4.7 but I am on a low fat diet now and have lost half a stone so far. I'm not like this usually so wondered if anyone got the same affects from me when on ezetimibe.

fat diet, is this related to PA for reasons other than I have no energy to exercise?

On 13th February 2024 I had my Gall bladder removed so dealt with 3 weeks of diarrhoea and eating a low fat diet. Lost about 11lb in weight but eating better now. PMR has knocked me sideways and came out of the blue.

How do you judge the right level of fat intake on your low carb diet?

I have looked at how to reduce bile production and from what I can tell it’s following a low fat diet. But , I was wondering if any of you lovely people hav come across this for yourselves and if you have , how have you dealt with it? I would appreciate any advice and guidance. thanks guys.

I do exercise and follow a low fat diet but nothing seems to get better. Every time I mention any of this to the doctor she checks my bloods and says everything is fine, I have no idea about bloods and what they should be I asked for results to be given to me but these are what I got?

I know I have to have a low fat diet and everything has be under 3g of fat but I’m so confused. Has anyone on the forum had their gallbladder removed and how did you approach your diet afterwards?

I’m currently on a low carb high fat diet.

And diagnosed me with acid reflux and IBS symptom of which I have controlled with a low fat diet and low fod map diet... Which has been OK.. I also have had MRI scan recently and have numerous gallstones in my gallbladder and now awaiting a referral to have my gallbladder removed..

Results for these are all mid range and my B12 and iron are on upper range as I’m on a high fat/protein low carb diet. I stopped my supplements 2 days before blood drawn for both tests.
