Ahhh it’s been awhile… Had my 5th FET today. Anyone else receiving competing information?? 🤔

I am in my TWW…I have had zero embryos attach but I’m hoping 5th time is the charm 🤷‍♀️ I find I get different information from the doctors every time I go in for another transfer… I’ve been told I can’t submerge myself in water(no baths, swimming, etc), no sex, no exercise. Then I have been told to have sex, that I can exercise, I just can’t take hot baths or hot tub. Anyone know what’s best?? Any advice on how to pass the time this round please let me know 🙏. Also, any success stories after many failed transfers?? Thanks 😘❤️

Hi Britt as the implantation is an internal procedure it makes us more susceptible to infections so the no submerging in water, baths, swimming, hot tubs and sex for at least 2 weeks is to prevent an infection occurring down below or internally. As for exercise I was always advised to take it easy for a few days after transfer and not to run or cycle. Also advised to avoid to much heat around tummy so no laptop or hot water bottle as that can harm embryo. Other than that was told nothing else you do will effect the outcome so just live your life normally. Good luck 👍

Eat heathy food- fresh fruit veg etc Exercise gently and try some relaxation techniques You should go easy on yourself ,as you are going through a stressful time
