Good morning, so I'm new here wish I had found you guys sooner. So today marks the day preping for our 3rd FET,
1st ended in miscarriage at 8weeks and ended up in theater with retained tissue so ended up with a d&c
2nd embaby just didn't even want to stick.
So here we are 3rd time lucky right, but this time we are having 2 embabies put back In... kinda nervous and excited at the same time. So this morning took my first lot of progonova, I have a scan on the 13th to check womb lining then I will start my utrogestan and prontogest then fingers crossed transfer on the 20th,
Can anyone give any tips to help these little embabies stick. I know if there not going to then they won't but I just want to do everything I can to help xx

Hey just wanted to wish you luck. I’m just waiting for my period and then will hopefully be starting my FET in next few days. Very nervous this time, hoping side effects from meds aren’t too bad. I also had a miscarriage in the summer from a fresh transfer x
I'm really excited this time round ill admit the second time round there was no excitement all all just the dreaded what if it works and we miscarry again as we didn't have a very big gap between only 3 months, but this time it's been 6 months so the what ifs are pushed further back and the excitement is here. I 100% don't miss the headaches that progynova give me tho, and the horrid sicky feeling. I have another scan on the 13th to see if my womb lining is thick enough then we can start the dreaded pesseries and the injections my husband hates them because he has to do them for me ... sending you lots of luck and baby dust on your next cycle I've never wish my period to come until we started ivf 😂 x
Haha yes and i normally dread them! Oh just to mention when i had a review after my last miscarriage the consultant did recommend trying a course of vaginal probiotics as i see it’s been mentioned below as well so def worth trying that x
Very best of luck! In the run up to my successful FET (still early days, touch wood), I took probiotics - both orally and vaginally, in addition to vitamin supplements, ate walnuts and went to a few reflexology sessions, which I found very helpful and relaxing. After the transfer, we went to Nando's for fries and chicken. I hope these ones stick for you!
Of course! They are both European imports (got them on ebay) LactoFlor for the oral probiotics, which I am still taking, the vaginal ones are Floragyn, I took a course of 6 pessaries in the run up to the FET. The packaging of the vaginal probiotic says they are not recommended during pregnancy. I hope you are keeping well!
All ladies on progynova... now on my last cycles it gave me really nasty headache for about a week... same this time round... but also something new this time... the tiredness and increase level of thirst? Does anyone else have this x
I have been getting terrible migraines/headaches on progynova this time, and also experiencing real fatigue and thirst! The things we put ourselves through, hopefully all be worth it 💕 xx
I'm sorry you are experiencing these side effects too, 😔 this is My 3rd time and never had the fatigue and thirst the first 2 times... so hoping its a good sign this time round, good luck to you too 😊 how far into your cycle are you? X
I have my baseline scan tomorrow afternoon so hopefully my lining is nice and thick and transfer should be next week. This is our last embryo so really praying for good news 🙏🏼. What about you? Wishing you lots of luck too 🍀 xx
I have my baseline scan on the 13th then hoping for transfer around the 20th... we have 3 embabies left but having 2 put back this time and the first 2 we used were very high grade so we were very disappointed that neither of them worked but I have a new consultant now and she said best isn't always the best sometimes you need to downgrade ... wishing you all the luck for tomorrow xx
awww I am sure it’ll all work out. I was getting so obsessed with grade quality. I had my daughter in 2020 felt so unbelievably lucky as it was my first round/cycle of IVF and a grade 5AA embryo. The 2 I had transferred were lower quality, one took but ended in miscarriage and the other didn’t implant. The quality of the one left isn’t great but I am trusting that what’s meant to be will be. I have everything crosses for you xx
