Elevated ALT a problem?
Hello, I'm 33 year old female, who was diagnosed with fatty liver after pregnancy. I can't find any more info about my fatty liver, it just says fatty infiltration. My BMI is within range. I drink maybe once a month as I'm too worried about my liver, I just don't enjoy drinking. I have been told

varices
I was diagnosed with Hep c 2020, now cured but have cirrhosis. Had endoscopy 2 years ago, no varices. my question is how long do they take to develop? Someone I know has tragically just passed away following a massive bleed and I can’t stop worrying now.

GP visit
I have been to see my GP today to talk about the results letter I received which I told you all about. He said it's f4 fibrosis, not cirrhosis, and it is reversible. I'm going to see a fibro nurse next Tuesday, which has been arranged through my drug worker. I'm going to ask all the same questions. I

update
hi everyone , just an update on my Dr appointment yesterday, apparently she heard back from the hep dr who has agreed to do a fibroscan, this is what I want, I need to know what is going on, but I am also very scared as to what the findings will be, could it still be possible to have a low f0 f1 score

Ureteral stricture surgery/Ureteral retransplantation, replacement of ureter w small intestines etc and specialists who do this
I have a third kidney transplant and a ureteral stricture. We have tried everything to fix the stricture but nothing has worked. So my transplant team decided that surgery was the option ,surgical retransplantation of the ureter using a piece of my small intestines where the stricture was ,in its place

Partner out of hospital
Thank you to all the replies I've had on previous posts about my partner. He is now out of hospital but on an awful lot of medication including steroids and tablets that suppress alcohol cravings. He has been diagnosed with Alcoholic Hepatitis for the second time in 2 years. I asked the consultant

My wife has a Bilirubin of 43 which has increased from 16 in February.
These tests are carried out 6 monthly, and my wife, who is 75, has been advised that she would not be put forward for a

if her
liver
condition gets worse. Is this something we should accept? is there something we can do to get a second opinion?

GP failed to inform me of Chronic Hep C positive test result for 7 years?
I was diagnosed with Chronic Hep C in 2007 after my GP requested a blood test, as I was suffering with shortness of breath and severe anaemia symptoms. The results came back saying I had "chronic active hepatitis". Now, I would have thought that due to the severity and the fact it was a "Virus" that
