I have been to see my GP today to talk about the results letter I received which I told you all about. He said it's f4 fibrosis, not cirrhosis, and it is reversible.

I'm going to see a fibro nurse next Tuesday, which has been arranged through my drug worker. I'm going to ask all the same questions. I also have an appointment with gastro which is where the results came from but that isn't until the end of August.

I've stopped drinking and the weight is falling off. I've gone from 25st 10lbs on the 24th may to 23 stone today and i only stopped drinking on the 10 June. He said that the weight was all drink and I will go back to my normal self just by not drinking. My diet is perfect he said.

I want to thank everyone again for your support, and you were right, I feel so much better now I've stopped drinking, I feel like me again. I feel extremely lucky that even though I've been drinking every day for years I didn't have any withdrawal symptoms. I never have with alcohol.

I know I'm not out of the woods by any means and I know he isnt a specialist. My bloods were a little bit high but he said they should sort themselves out now.

I just want to know what everyone thinks. Because I was sure f4 fibrosis was cirrhosis... I'm just wondering if they taken into account the fact I lied about drinking or something. My fibroscn was 14.5kpa
