Liver - More Tests?
Morning everyone - I’m a 39 year old, thin, non drinker. Over the past 7 years I have had numerous liver symptoms with little diagnosis. I itch (feet and hands), constant nausea, pain/pressure in liver area, fatigue and pins and needles in legs. I have had my gallbladder removed, several ultrasounds

Esld
I've had cirrhosis for a few years now. I've had 4 bleeds, the last one was gastric but the first 3 were oesophagal. The last one resulted in a TIPS procedure which i believe is a stent through the liver. Now been told i have esld and without wishing to ask a daft question, what is the likely outcome

Hepatic Encephalopathy
What more can they do for hepatic encephalopathy. My relative is on rifaxim twice a day and lactose 3 times a day but still has symptoms. Some days are better than others. Sadly he can’t have a liver transplant as he has cancer and has been told he has months there for want to make sure that he has

ALT ASL Levels
AST and ASL 100 after a week of drinking. Should I be worried? GGT 50. Stopped drinking altogether now.

Still itching but end could be in sight
Well, firstly my thanks to those who have offered support! It is a daunting thing to get head around, F3 Fibrosis! But, there is hope on horizon. Have had a letter from hospital specialist, apparently I do stand a good chance of improving my score, am also seeing GP next week to look at blood test

New to this
Hi, Sorry If this reply to this post is too long First I would just like to say that my wife had a chronic needle phobia and would be the first to say she that she didn't help herself and others when trying to have blood taken, but after many attempts over some years no one seemed to listen to her

Getting nervous but for what for ??
Maybe by writing this, I will get the answers myself. I have a telephone appointment with my Gastro/Hepatologist tomorrow afternoon (1st 6 months review) I am now at loss as to what to ask him, plus I am not so good at talking on the phone. I know he will go through me with my bloods which have improved

Digestive discomfort with fatty liver?
Got a follow up with GI doc. Liver enzymes have been normal for months…Fibroscan was normal and they assured me there was no scarring. But my cap score did indicate my liver was a little fatty. I’m a lean guy and this happened from binge drinking and eating a bunch of crap. I have been sober but notice
