I've had cirrhosis for a few years now. I've had 4 bleeds, the last one was gastric but the first 3 were oesophagal. The last one resulted in a TIPS procedure which i believe is a stent through the liver. Now been told i have esld and without wishing to ask a daft question, what is the likely outcome? I'm finding it difficult to get a straight answer from any of the doctors.
