Thyroid panel testing revealed low Bicarbonate
Had my bloods taken in August, GP has just asked to see me to review my T3/T4 meds. Can anyone advise why my serum bicarbonate was out of the bottom of the range? Is it linked with being hypothyroid, or possibly being on liothyronine? Also, can anyone tell me if these levels seem ok? Serum tsh - 0.08

Mind takes over
Hi everyone...I joined this group a few days ago. I have made several attempts to write posts on here but it gave me anxiety just to do that. So here I am today, finally able to type this out. I struggle with depression, anxiety and panic attacks, bipolar and ptsd. It wasn’t up until this year that

It has been eight months and I was finally diagnosed with bipolar 1 due to my manic episode with PPP followed by months of anxiety and depression. Initially I was on zyprexa to treat the psychosis which worked

Stomach acid effects on oral Bisphosphonates
Has anyone got experience of how Bisphosphonates are affected by stomach acid? Could reduced stomach acid cause unresponsive esophageal valves that then leak stomach contents after taking Bisphosphonates? Presumably, Bisphosphonates are tested on healthy volunteers, not those people with coexisting

Recovery
Hi, I was hospitalized with pp for 37 days back in May/June this year. I have now weened off the antipsychotics, I am just still on lithium, but I still don’t feel at all like myself. I can’t take care of my kids or hold a conversation. Does anyone else have any recollection about how long recovery

My psychiatrist started me on the lowest dose. It has been seven years since I've been diagnosed with

Questions for anyone who suffered acid rebound effect after PPI use, and eventually was free from acid reflux?
I could write a book about my experiences with this condition, but I'll try to be as concise as possible to keep you from getting bored halfway through! After various stomach problems (constipation / diarrhea, and later on stomach pains / cramps) for about a year, that my doctor speculates are IBS-related

Dr. Minchley – naturopath focused on PD – Sharon's take
Dr. Minchley – naturopath focused on PD – my take I have nothing against naturopaths. Bastyr graduates some very competent naturopathic doctors who in recent years tend to lean towards alopathic medicine (drug and science based) rather than their traditional naturopathic focus which was using the natural

No. Would Stem cell replacement be beneficial? Still experimental. No. Have you ever heard of the Marty
