Any comments on his advice below?

A Ketogenic (alkaline) diet is essential. Search Ketogenic diet recipes at ReallyHealthyFoods.com

Drinking 6 glasses of water over the day with a 1/3rd teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate of soda in each glass (new study just released)

1st Line Immune support is helpful to strengthen the immune protection.

Additional enzymes are needed to dissolve the tumour’s protective coating, enabling the body’s own macrophages to recognize and break the cells down into harmless basic amino acids.

Curcumin supplements will help clear the cancer cells and also help to deal with any infection.

A colloidal iodine supplement is needed to support the immune system.

Probiotic with soil-based organism strains is needed to support the digestive immune system and to restore the flora balance.

Take liposomal Vitamin C to compensate for lack of C in the average diet

A complex supplement that includes selenium is needed to help create glutathione and activate the iodine.

Restore all B Vitamins

Take COQ10 to aid healthy cell regeneration.

I am highly confident you will long, far and wide looking for competent clinical studies to support any of the above.

And you will ding nothing at the end of the search.

Sorry

His advice? It's not based on actual science and is the same stuff you continue to see shared on the Internet.

It seems the Ketogenic diet is one of those fads but long term outcomes do not show any particular advantage. It may have "worked" for some because it is a lot better than a junk food diet, and takes loads of fat off . But even better is a real balanced diet. Add some real food to the Ketogenic diet and you are nearly there!

What a load of tosh.

What’s the first thing your food meets in your stomach? Neat hydrochloric acid. What does acid do to alkalis? Neutralises them. Your body then uses homeostasis to make sure your Ph stays within a very very narrow margin, anything either way is excreted in urine and sweat.

That is biology 101.

Very true, but I sometimes wonder if there's modest benefit in having more alkaline urine in terms of reducing urgency. There also seems to be a modest athletic benefit as more bicarbonate helps buffer lactic acid.

Meat & Dairy consumption in the Ketogenic diet is problematic as both of these, especially as dominant parts of the diet, are associated with heart disease & cancer. Besides, the idea of a Ketogenic diet is to eliminate sugars but Prostate Cancer does not generally have an affinity for sugar which is different from many other cancers.

Robert Redferns? Who is he? Sodium Bicarb will increase your blood pressure if you take it even with water X 6 times daily! A ketogenic diet is high in fat, cancer cells will be very happy when you consume fatty food!

I would be careful to not confuse how to prevent cancer with how to try and kill cancer. The above looks like it has several things cancer loves to eat and grow if my research is correct.
